He was with AM Soccer based in Cupar, he played some reserve games with Raith Rovers when Laurie Ellis was the coach. When Ray McKinnon jumped ship he lured Louis away to United, he was due to sign for the Rovers but you can read between the lines.
dundeeunited83
Might turn oot to be his best signing, looks a completely different player, fast strong direct good touch, winger we’re looking for might already be here
Tap in 94
Early days but both Appere and Scott Banks have really impressed me

PartyFears2
will be interesting to see who loses the race for Stevie May & gets lumbered with him.
ewan_fife
Played against Appere and he was frightening, would like to see him on loan at a good standard to see how he does. But he looked really sharp against us

St Johnstone fans - He ruined yous last time round, youd love him. United fans - Hes been ruined by injuries/lost half a yard/lost whatever he had St Johnstone fans - Have you actually seen him play since his injury? United fans - Not relevant, hes shite. I've simmed the next few posts to save us time.
Alert Mongoose
Not interested in May coming to Tannadice - finished with the injury.
ArabianKnight
Yeah I actually think we're adequately covered with strikers now. Shankland, Clark, Sow and Cammy Smith alongside the younger guys is plenty at this level. May doesn't interest me in the slightest.

stumigoo
Aye, but hes our shite.Just to be clear, I like May and I like strikers who play the way he tries to play (or the way he used to). Whatever he had he has lost, maybe that will come back, maybe it won’t.

Hes got zero confidence since his knees blew out, and Mcinnes shoved him onto the wing or asked him to do the graft for the striker ahead of him. Unfair to completely write him off just yet.

coppola
The balance (or lack of) with our attacking players is probably my biggest concern at this point. The thought of another year watching a lone striker isolated and constantly losing the ball 40 - 50 yards from goal gies me the fear. Hopefully unfounded.

Unfair to completely write him off just yet. McInnes has a habit of constraining players and not getting the best out of them - Greg Stewart being a prime example. May despite his injury is still a handful and would be useful in the Championship - it's whether he's still got it to be a Premiership striker that's the issue.

It certainly worked the first time.

Is Appere going to be an exciting prospect, he certainly took my interest when he signed as a youth. A strong athletic pacey striker, let's see how he gets on.
