Dundee United 2019/2020

Declan Glass has won Player of the Month for August in League Two.

Guy looks class

Head and shoulders above everyone else on the park in that televised game last week

Reminds me of Stanton but with more technical ability, drives out the middle of the park so well and usually makes something happen

He looked like someone who was going to be given game time, but I think that Neilson and the club have made the right choice in sending him out on loan again. He is due back in January so could be like a new signing if he does come back and we push him into the first team.

Ayr United.

Think we were lulled into a false sense of security by how insultingly easy our preceding league game was tbh

Too easily hustled. Like the pub pool player who let's everyone beat him before taking all their money off them.

James McPake is some pool player btw.

I am happy to accept that both Ayr and Dundee deserved their wins today.

12 out of a possible15 points is not a bad start to the season.

Would have taken 12/15 at the start of the season. Poor result today but we go again next week. No utd fan thinks this season will be a breeze despite what fans of other teams say.

Indeed. We're not really an optimistic bunch. Events since 2015 have seen to that.

Shite to take today but in the grand scheme of things we can happy with the start we have had. On another day we might have left Somerset with a point, after Clark hitting the post, but we lost (and deserved to).

We now have two home games on the bounce, so maximum points would be a nice way of getting back on track.

My small concern over the last few seasons in this league is when we get a bad result , we went on long poor runs.

Two wins to round off September and it’s an excellent start, anything less and it’s just so so

In all honesty, it's gonna be the same way it always has.

Opposition fan: "Think United will walk the league this year."

Opposition fan: "United aren't as good as they think they are, we can beat them."

Opposition fan: "lol United are shite. How the f**k did they think they would win the league with this rabble?"

Following some of the comments made on the match thread after yesterday's defeat, I can announce we're at stage two.
