Recently released by Southend. He's a left back mainly though?

Aladdin
Yeah we’ve got Sporle!I have a nagging suspicion we may have seen the last of him already.
ArabianKnight
Sporle was playing for the reserves in a 4-2 win over Hamilton yesterday. He's more than likely finding the adjustment difficult and needs a little time to settle in.
OzzyArab92
I have a nagging suspicion we may have seen the last of him already. He was all smiles and hugs with the manager on Friday night in the players family area after the game. Personally feel Robson has stepped up this season and has kept him out the team. Not sure Neilson wants to have a player that can only play one position on the bench hence him not making match day squads just now.

I had assumed you couldn't rack up a decent number of games in the argentinian top flight without some sort of ability.I'm just being pessimistic given Uniteds less than sterling record of south american signings.
Pull My Strings
I think he's clearly got ability but his positioning in the few games he played was just wild. I presume that's down to the style of play he's been used to versus how we play over here.

I think he played the full 90 as well can't see him getting subbed anywhere.

He and Matty Smith were subbed off at half time. Neilson was there watching the 1st half but not the 2nd.
Eddie the Eagle
I see Jamie Robson has just signed another contract extension
dundeeunited83
Very well deserved imo, what a improvement he has made in the last year, made a huge difference as a left mid last season and now is making a massive difference at left back! Good on him
Poet of the Macabre
One of your fans wanted Robson "dropped in acid" following our opening game of the season last year, so he must have made some improvement.
dundeeunited83
Huge improvement since neilson came in and he’s not the only one! Long may it continue

Not me although I wanted him exiled permanently to some remote Siberian mine after his off field antics. Even those who weren't writing him off entirely have had grave misgivings at various points I'm sure. Then there was the silly "not venom" and fancy dress nonsense. He's done very well to come back from the brink.
mishtergrolsch
Who'd have thought Jamie Robson would still be at the club this time last season never mind having his contract extended. Hard work and playing next to a solid experienced pro has done him wonders.
