Dunning1874
3164 scabs last night. For shame. That’s assuming 1076 is the correct Falkirk attendance and the 1706 on their website is the typo rather than the media getting it the wrong way round. Either way, more than a third of the nationwide scabs are in the Grangemouth area.
Adolfo Rios
The smallest attendance of the night didn't involve any Colt teams strangely.

Which is no doubt something supporters of colt teams in the leagues can now point to and say ‘Look, Colt sides will lead to increased attendances in League Two!’ So thanks to the 3000+ scabs who’ve given them that ammunition.

Stellaboz
I also saw Falkirk voted Sevco straight into the championship. Offt.

Like to think we and Edinburgh have done ourselves bloody proud, the rest of you are a absolute disgrace. Edit: This moral outlook subject to change upon drawing Ballymena away in the next round Edited August 14, 2019 by Christophe

Expect that one to be used by the Old Firm trying to shoehorn their way into League Two. The other Colts crowd that stood out was 326 at Hearts-Cowdenbeath. It was at Linlithgow was it not? Very decent. Every other attendance is proper facepalm stuff. I’m sure Stranraer were counting the masses of kids who were there in amongst that attendance, but kids got in for free. I passed a group of about 12 kids without an adult making their way to the turnstile. 524 paying people would be a good attendance but I reckon there was 300 adults there maximum Edited August 14, 2019 by Thereisalight..

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
And overall their results are improving so they are learning and getting better through playing against SPFL teamsLOL. Aye those 1 or 2 games a season they play against some shanner team like Dumbarton or Cowdenbeath must be hugely aiding their development.
Cowden Cowboy
A bit of a shanner view - it's presumably all part of the range of development activities - it has also meant their coaches have had to devise strategies and game plans to tackle teams made up of more experienced players. You are seemingly one of those development deniers. There are two key aspects here - 1) these games do help young players develop & 2) Colt teams should not be in the SPFL. Two separate issues
Adolfo Rios
I'm sure those young Motherwell players went home last night thinking that 4-0, going on 6 or 7, tanking from a team that hadn't won a game this season to date and had been conceding for fun sure has made them a better player and more confident in their ability.
Loonytoons
And overall their results are improving so they are learning and getting better through playing against SPFL teamsAttempt at a whoosh. The fact that the age restriction went from U20 to U21 last season has nothing to do with it though.

They were taught a lesson - that's of value. It's not about just being given medals, cossetted, making players more comfortable in their ability and playing against other kids - sometimes you need a dose of reality or to see where you fall short and what is really required to make the next step.

It has some bearing of course - but that alone isn't a game-changer unless you think that one year is turbo charging youngsters.
Blootoon87
And overall their results are improving so they are learning and getting better through playing against SPFL teamsAre they improving? They don't seem to be. They seem to keep changing the rules to allow older players to play for the Colts, that could have something to do with any perceived improvement.

Bully Wee Villa
What was the draw? Can't watch with sound on at work and the twats didn't put the names of teams at the bottom of the screen...
Christophe
Stenhousemuir Vs The New Saints, something different I suppose, wouldn't have minded a trip away though
