Celtic get no challenge in Scotland so are crap in Europe.

The Rangers get run ragged in Scotland so make progress in Europe.

Discuss.

Will be everyone else’s fault regardless, never Celtic or Rangers fault whatever the situation 😂😂😂

A predictably churlish response from Police Scotland.  They really are hopeless.

The guy lands on his arse in the middle of a goal celebration so the response is to charge someone with assault. Pathetic.

Reminds me of walking to a Scotland game at Hampden years ago.  Big policeman with a ridiculous looking moustache. Someone in the crowd joked ‘hey mate, taches are out’ and everyone laughed. Policeman was raging and pulled the guy over and started threatening him with arrest. Makes you worry that they employ folk with such desperately fragile egos.

How can Po-Pos Scotland charge a foreign national who's only here to play in a football match? Presumably he's back in Denmark now. Don't they have to go through the local bacon in Copenhagen?

How long before Celtic appeal to UEFA that the guy should have been arrested on the spot and the goal disallowed, and demand a replay?

Lennon’s ideas are very sparse,
And his gameplan a bit of a farce,
But he wasn’t at fault,
When Santos did assault,
A plod who got put on his arse.

He laughed about it when he got his tea break back at the station though,

Funnily enough, to me it seemed that rangers borrowed a bit from Scottish football on wed night, we were happy to sit in and hit on the break, flood the central areas and force braga wide to consistently hvetto put crosses into the box

Ive noticed our domestic opponents doing that, knowing full well that they have numbers in the box to defend the crosses

Absolutely fucking ludicrous that the Police are charging people in connection with the incident at the Copenhagen goal. Ridiculous in the first place that the policeman is running at a footballer who has just scored and manhandling him in the middle of a celebration, especially when he’s running towards his own fans.  No wonder his teammate pushes him out of the way. Hopefully this nonsense gets treated with the contempt it deserves

Aside from the cost to the tax payer and international embarrassment, you also can tell fairly easily that it was a genuine accident from the player when you see the footage from another angle. The first policeman attempts to rugby tackle the goalscorer and goes for him perpendicularly then the second one charges in and blocks off the team mate who was celebrating. It's not that clear on the BT footage but the player who knocked him over had a panicked reflex of putting his arms out almost in an attempt to catch him again and was startled at the response.

Fair enough, heat of the moment I could understand why maybe mistakes were made and organisation for situations like that aren't normally tested but the fact that people have gotten to work this morning and this decision has went through multiple ranks .

What's even worse is that in the chaos, one of them completely loses their head and aggressively confronts a steward who is doing his job and trying to resume the players back to play (as best he can in the midst of the organisational structure collapsing). One of them then initiates an unprovoked attack on him and he reacts a little bit as anyone would and tries to recapture some space for himself to adjust to what's going on. He's then roughly arrested and then charged this morning.
