Game of throw-ins
"We've heard about Steven's half-time team talks before and he'll be in there just now winding the players up. Hopefully, he can come up with one of those rousing team talks that he's very famous for." Mark Hately, BBC. Presumably Steven's fame as a half-time talker is more celebrated outside Scotland than within it. As a Scottish football fan it had somehow escaped my attention. You'd think our media would keep us better informed about goings on at Rangers.

Fratelli
Rangers might've done something had they been able to build a bit of momentum again and get the crowd going like that period in the first half, but i suspect Lyon will now just pop it about fairly comfortably. shizzlemanizzle
Lyon are absolutely toying with Rangers. The old firm getting a reality check as to there standing in European football. It’s like watching their colts trying to compete in the Challenge Cup

Steve_Wilkos
Ryan (David) Brent's fannying on leads to both goals - the second being a comedic own goal.
TheScarf
"Botang" ffs. He's only won the World Cup, 2 Champions Leagues and about 80 Bundesligas and Rae sounds like he's pronouncing his name as if he's never heard of him before. Jim McLean's Ghost
Wright clearly clipped Denayer's leg. The defender is going to get that foul every time.
Fratelli
Need to stamp those type of challenges out of the game. Denayer lucky to escape a serious injury there.

gaz5
What first half was Ryan Kent impressive in?Sold a goal and missed Rangers only real chance. It's impressive just how big the gulf is between these two teams and this is a weakened Lyon.Kent being injured and forcing Gerard to drop him might be a godsend for Rangers.
