The_Kincardine
Maybe a deflected trundler from Wright but it was an excellent move for the goal. Let's hope we've not angered them...

AJF
Thought we started off chasing shadows but grew into that half rather nicely. Move for the goal was excellent and Bassey has been very assured at the back again.

Orbix
A 1-1 where both teams get luck off massively deflected goals seems fair

gaz5
But he needs service. We’ve hardly been out our half. He's had plenty of service, but he's failed to get the ball under control or given it away 90% of the time.

He’s not great at holding a big CB off, but there’s a lot more to the position (and different ways of playing it) than that

AJF
Lyon stepped it up a bit in the second half but both teams had their chances. We looked very fragile at corner kicks, seemed like zonal marking being used which I’m not a fan of. Other than his hesitation on the ball that nearly allowed Lyon in, I thought Bassey played well over all and seemed very calm. Lundstram as well I thought was decent. Pribably a fair result and a wee coefficient boost and maintains Gio’s unbeaten start. I’ll take it.
The_Kincardine
The back 4 were generally good in open play- though shite at corners.
AJF
I also saw it mentioned on Twitter but I think I agree… we seem more comfortable at the back with McLaughlin in goals and he uses the ball a lot better to play out from the back and build attacks.
DMCs
Pretty happy with that. 4 wins from the first 4 from Gio then an away draw in France is pretty good going. Kent was looking back to his best as well. What we need is more pace though.
