That save defies belief.

Sensational.

completely agree - as good a save you will ever see....just amazing for a 39 year old (I was confused as to why it was not hitting the back of ther net as it went past the keeper)

McGregor, what more can you say about him. That was better than his save vs Bremen during the 2008 UEFA Cup run. And he made this one after being so pished he couldn't stand on Sunday. Seriously, go look at the photo of him leaving the training ground

Patterson looked like what he is, inexperienced. He flashed - he's clearly going to be very good, he has all the technical attributes you want, but he was roasted by Sima a couple of times and made a few bad decisions throughout the match. Missed Tavernier.

Credit to Beale and Gerrard as usual. That second half was a lot more comfortable after we tweaked it. If Goldson makes contact with the ball from that free-kick, it could have been even better.

Slavia definitely threw the kitchen sink at us in the first 45 because they looked tired before they got their second wind at 80 minutes.

Overall, pretty happy. We'll look better in the second leg.

Fantastic result for the Champions tonight and what an incredible save from McGregor to get the away draw.

In what continues to be the season from heaven for you fine chaps, that is another excellent nights work as you continue to fly the flag for Scotland in Europe and boost the coefficient.

My cap status: Doffed

McGregor, wow.

Slavia looked very good for spells in that match but they also looked like they could be got at.

The switching of play had us pulled all over the place and their passing was very accurate to pull it off so consistently.

Still, I think we probably looked at our least cohesive this season in Europe and we still managed to come away with a credible result.

Big task but it’s probably a 50/50 tie right now and with an away goal, I’ll 100% take it.

McGregor btw!!!

To be fair to Patterson he had a rocky period for about 20 mins in the second half and then recomposed himself.

He coped remarkably well with the switch of play which must have been an absolute nightmare for him to defend against, especially when being left 1v1 and 2v1. When Sima has the space to run in behind, even EPL players were going to find it a challenge.

His tackle in the box around the 75-80 min mark was unreal and then made another great tackle on the edge of the box a few minutes later. So comfortable coming out the back with the ball.

I just think he had spells in the game where he made bad decisions. He struggled to know when to commit against Sima. That's not really a slight on him - decision making is something that improves with time.

Seen enough to know why Tavernier's contract has 12 months to run.
