I can only imagine it would be a ban or a fine when he says “ player will be dealt with “ ridiculous statement. Time for a change after all this. To come out and say that a player is going to be dealt over a tweet at junior level  is a disgrace. Absolute shambles

Surely the delegates are seeing common sense with the medals in a carrier bag  fiasco that Robertson is not capable of being in the post. I’ve spoken to him once and he is rude and not the kind of person who should be in the position to deal with club secretaries. The presentation of cups and medals to cup and league winners is not professional and has been like that for years with medals not being presented and now the carrier bag story.  To even suggest any action to the boy Shankland just shows you how niave and petty the man is but if the presentation and delivery of the medals had been done correctly then we wouldn’t be debating this. So to all the elected delegates of the West Region stand up and do the right thing and  get rid of Robertson who giving the West Region unnecessary publicity.

Thought the whole thing was quite amusing and the Talbot players were just having a laugh rather than getting all diva-ish about it.

Scott Robertson attempting to channel Tony Soprano is an even bigger red neck than the original incident.  He 100% deserves to be lampooned for handing over medals in a fucking Iceland poke and should be big enough to take it in good spirit.

At least go to Waitrose if it's for a special occasion you miserable, pompous arsehole.

To publish a tweet with the words ( he will be getting dealt with tomorrow) is a clear threat to mark shankland this could mean anything depending how you interpret the word dealt? Robertson should withdraw that statement immediately or it could land him in trouble .

I think a statement like Robertson made should be on the other thread that has over 800 pages the future of junior football that's where it should be because the game is no even amateur at best with a statement from the top man in the West region..

"West Region Premiership – Medal Presentation

Following comments from various individuals on the Medal Presentation after receiving the Premiership Trophy at our Match versus Pollok last Wednesday evening, the club consider that in the best interest of all parties we clarify a few points and hopefully put an end to this matter.

The Club were informed by West region Secretary Scott Robertson prior to the game that we would be presented with the Premiership Trophy, and that he would bring the winners medals along with him for the Club to do as they wish with them. Normally we would present them to our players at our POTY event, however due to circumstances out with our control a date has yet to be fixed for this and with the season drawing to a close we had arranged with our coaching staff to distribute the medals to the players after the game in the Dressing Room, innocently they were handed out on the pitch.

Finally, we are sure that lessons have been learned all round, and more importantly it is the Club’s wish that no blame be attached to West Region Secretary Scott Robertson or his committee who have unfortunately come in for unfair criticism."

That statement from talbot is embarrassing too. The man who is the head of the organisation could have easily stayed 5 minutes extra and gave players there medals . Except he gave the trophy to Lyle as quickly as possible and left . To then come out and make a statement about dealing with mark is a joke. The whole organisation is run by Dinosaurs .

So they can deal with mark shankland tomorrow has Scott Robertson put it for the medals in a carrier bag but takes them ages to sort out bigger issues that happened in the season with cambuslang hmmm something not right here if they cant see that has humor then something is wrong just goes to show they dont have a clue how to deal with issues are they going to try and get him banned from playing in the final now

What a load of pish.
Surprise surprise Talbot sticking up for Robertson.
Surely he could have had the decency to wait 5 minutes and hand every player their medal.
