Had it have been a relevant team that people have heard of playing the score would have been given. 8 minutes ago, HibsFan said: FTFY. Marshmallo
P&B's Hibs fans remain life's losers but the lad posting about crowd sizes is absolutely spot on. What makes this a result that people "would have taken before kick off" other than it being quite far away from Scotland? Any top 6 Scottish top flight team should be beating this sort of dross by 6 or 7 goals on aggregate.

RussellAnderson
1-1's fine, we're still in the tie, we only conceded from a dodge pen. For a country which has claimed many a Scottish heart, a score draw is fine. We should have enough next week at Pittodrie. Bryson and Ojo were pretty anonymous and will need to stamp their mark on the game a bit more when they get up to speed. Cosgrove on 3 for 3 despite playing humpty each match. You love to see it.
G-MAN
Take that result. Will say it again. That team are absolute shite and far far worse than RoPS. It is a concern our threat was non existent or was it “game management”. Easy passage to next round though. Who are Hibs playing btw ?

They’ve played in Europe regularly in recent years and haven’t been beaten by 6 or 7 goals by any team including sides from countries such as Turkey, Switzerland, Israel, Austria etc. Almost every year when they get knocked out it’s by 1 or 2 at most. Even Maribor who have a better record than most Scottish sides in recent years only beat them 2-0 on aggregate. John Lambies Doos
Well done Aberdeen. Decent result. Please finish them next week!
Alan Stubbs
Seems like the Hibs bois were having a bit of a laugh after the Funso pen, following a few weeks of Aberdeen fans living in our threads. Folk getting all pissy about it is great reading.

lubo_blaha
Crowd size is a rough measure to how good the team is, in the absence of any better metric. Quite apt given hibs’ most recent home attendance.

coprolite
Hmm. OK result. They were pretty pish. But so were we. Not out but need a result which we should be able to get. Absolutely rattled by the rapier wit of our league Cup group stage representatives from leith though. They are the most witty of all the diddies, except dunfermline.

Suspect Device
Decent enough result from a pretty poor performance. There are no easy games in Europe. Unless Hibs qualify. Edited July 26, 2019 by Suspect Device
Dave1875
Tetchy bunch these Aberdeen lads, poke fun at one of their players you previously looked on the verge of signing when he gives away an extremely soft penalty, and the whole flock comes down with a case of mad cow disease
Frank Grimes
The multiple scuddings we’ve dished out to Hibs over the last couple of years since they returned from their holidays in the seaside leagues has clearly had a bit of an effect on them I think they’ll break when Ojo runs the show at ER

Dons_1988
That wasn’t a vintage performance by any stretch. That team are pretty poor to be honest but 1-1 away isn’t a shocker. Still fancy us to do the business. Much improvement needed though. Lack of defensive cover could end up being a real problem this season if this keeps up.
