Galston Utd New Manager

Recommended Posts

Galston United are accepting applications for the role of Team Manager for the forthcoming 2019/20 Season, where we will be playing in the Ayrshire AFA First Division.

Galston Utd are an established Ayrshire amateur team with almost 50 years of history, having won the Ayrshire Cup, South Ayrshire Cup and Donsport Trophy numerous times, with some strong runs in the National Competitions over the years, including narrowly losing out in The Scottish Cup Final at Hampden. We have competed at the top of the Ayrshire Premier League for a number of seasons, been part of the top division for almost 20 years and looking to bounce back from this season’s disappointment.

The Manager will be responsible for training sessions and managing the team for matches on Saturdays at 2pm or 2:30pm, and some midweek matches at the beginning and end of the season, which runs from August to May. They will also take on a place on the club committee.

We have a core squad of players searching for some leadership to challenge for the First Division title and regain our position in the top league in Ayrshire. We train and play our home games on the 4G surface at Loudoun Academy, Galston.

Smashing club. Hopefully a season out with the prem can pick the club up. Fighting out for a title of any nature can attract players. All the best
