We are already looking forward to his playoff final winner that keeps you lot down.

I know Clyde are a shambles and would probably do something stupid like let their on loan captain line up against them in a play off final, but I suspect the Sons staff are a wee bit more switched on than that. Try and not break him any more than he already is, okay?

Question: how much did Falkirk pay for Jordan Allan? Find it mental that they’re facing a black hole in their finances if anything from a thrupney bit to half a million pounds, yet can splash out on a striker.

What black hole is this? The NBP exchange rate is as strong as ever despite a small accidental loss of £1.1m last season. I suspect the fee we paid was around £30k but have no idea really

This deal makes zero sense to me. Not sure how we can afford to give game time to a guy who’s clearly miles off match sharpness either given we are in a relegation dog fight.

Peter Grant has been disappointing and slow as a week in the jail but still managed to look the pick of our defence so far.

Hopefully big Sula continues his form in there as we need him more than ever.

Could we send Thicot and say it was mistaken identity?

McGeever, Rennie, Doherty, Salkeld and Hynes in with Grant, Hendji, Rodden, Cassidy and Allan out is a far busier January than I expected.

I still think we are really weak in the wide midfield areas and could’ve done with at least 1 in for there, but overall the squad looks a bit better with more depth.

On this day 15 years ago, John Bomber Brown took charge of his first Clyde team against Stirling Albion.

I was so hopeful.  TBF he did keep us up.

It was the best of times...

On the whole, the January arrivals are of a higher standard than the players that have left, so that's nice.

I agree that we're weak out wide, but playing a formation that suits the players may negate that. Wullie Muir is also now a free agent, so if Parry continues to nosedive I'd like to see Mullen punted and Muir in. Pipe dream though.

In my opinion, the starting line up should be:

                    Parry

Hynes, McGeever, Sula, Craig

          Cuddihy, Roberts

                  Salkeld

Cunningham, Rennie, Doherty

The return of Duthie should strengthen the wide areas and I have a feeling we'll see more of Cunningham there too now we have 2 new strikers.

Like I said yesterday LB and middle of the park the obvious areas to me if we're looking at a couple more additions

Clearly Duffy didn’t rate at least half of Lennon’s signings…hopefully with these guys on board, it might reflect the true “Duffy effect” because even he couldn’t get a tune out of some of these roasters.

f**k me. Our bench is absolutely shocking, shit sloppy goal to concede again. Need more players in asap cuz none of those players on the bench are worth bringing on. 19 points behind so playoffs it is if we can even manage that ffs. Doherty was abysmal and can’t understand why Rennie isn’t playing in the centre because him and Salkeld look like our only hopes of reaching the playoffs. Thought McGeever and Sula had a good partnership and should do ok until the end of the season. How Cameron and McDonald are still with us I have no idea but I’d be paying them to stay away rather than turn up to the game. Next game against Peterhead absolutely must win

First time I've ever seen a centre half subbed for being exhausted.

That's positive that's all it was. He's barely kicked a ball since October 2021, so I'm not surprised. Hopefully it won't take him too long to build up his fitness if he's getting games every week.

Didn't even bother today. Decided to go watch a local junior side.

Went along to watch Kilwinning Rangers and the match day is night and day to ours. Fantastic set up, good prices and a good feel around the place. Even small clubs like them have a better set up than us (suppose we don't even have one).

It's fuckin frightening how far we are behind even junior clubs now and can see us passing them if we keep going this way. They have 3 sides of covers terrace and a small seated stand (would be too small for our level...at the moment) but if we could replicate that with a slightly bigger seated stand with a roof then it would be a great set up. They have a great grass pitch coupled with 4g pitches behind them and a great clubhouse for a pint.

But no chance our board and their magic money tree can do that

I can't blame you. Whilst they may be trying the squad have lost all/any confidence from the first few games this season. I can't remember the last game I came away from being able to say it was a good watch. As soon as they concede it is inevitable the games done.  Making the playoffs are a frightening prospect because some of the League 2 sides will easily compete with us. A case in point is Dumbarton in the cup- who looked as though they were in a training session with us. If they don't win league 2 we are going down. And also more worryingly Elgin (who sit 5th in L2) who we didn't break down, it took penalties. So we couldn't beat a team in 90 mins who currently lie below the playoffs in League 2.

I think you'll find the embarrassment is anyone who believes in the board, players or manager.

Players, board and manager chucked it weeks ago so why should I shell out twice the cash to watch when no one else at the club cares. But feel free to happy clap to relegation. I'll make my feelings clear to the board by walking away toll they do

Just put hat Choo c..t on ignore in your settings mate. Anyway….I packed it in earlier in the season. Totally agree with your thoughts about the set ups of some of the junior clubs have rightly shown up others “senior” clubs who were just treading water before, Berwick, East Stirling, Cowdenbeath etc. Looking back now…Cumbernauld was a wasted opportunity and giving Lennon a new contract in May 22 was one of the worst decisions made by the Club.
