FREDDYFRY
It’s just a disaster, I honestly don’t thing any of our players would get a squad place in any other L1 side. Edited December 31, 2022 by FREDDYFRY
Only one David Marsh
This year certainly won't be memorable

I’ve said this before, but my hat goes off to anyone willing to travel to away games given the team’s current predicament. Really sad to see this situation…again. Future looks very very bleak. We have been on the slide since the promotion season and got worse and worse each year This season we don’t have DGW to mask how bad the rest the squad is by baling us out of games single handed Unfortunately we have a squad this year that when released at the end of the season most will end up at LL level at best

That was out of 24 games, as opposed to the 37 in 2022. Here are the worst calendar years, in terms of league wins, since then: 2022 - 5 2017 - 5 2010 - 5 1990 - 6 1979 - 6 1971 - 5 1969 - 6 1919 - 6
Bob731
It’s absolutely desperate….unless here are some revenue steams to be created from somewhere then with this pyramid system, Clyde could be next to drop.
ClydeFCTheBullyWee
Hopefully Duffy can source out some free agents or tempt some former players to come this month. Fingers crossed he gets rid of some of the dross we have too but doubt that’ll happen. Need bodies in badly if we want even the smallest hope of survival
SLClyde
I wonder if we’ll be talking to killie to extend Craig’s loan, we absolutely can’t have Rodden and Nyamsi as our left backs. They are both players who should be leaving. Kyle Connell released by killie today, been on loan at raith in the first half and scored 9 in a poor east fife team last year, a striker we could maybe look at. A decent right back, midfielder to replace Gomis and striker really needed.
FREDDYFRY
Obviously I’m in fantasy land here, but it would be would be unbelievable if we could move, Rodden, Nyamsi, Lyon, Cameron, McDonald and with Gomis away make room for Full backs that are actually footballers. Midfield player being either a solid dirty Bam or mobile or need I say creative. A forward that can actually keep possession and cause defences a problem at least and support Allan. Pretty impossible ask I know but can only live in hope. Main problem who would want any of Lennon’s “exciting young players”?

As much as I agree that all of those players could be moved on other than McDonald as I think he has a bit about him, it’s unlikely to find enough available and better players to replace. The answer to your last question is Gretna.
FREDDYFRY
It’s an interesting debate regarding McDonald, I know a lot of the support like him, personally I don’t see too much in him at all. Yes he tries hard as you’d expect, looks like he has ability, but he offers absolutely no presence whatsoever up front. I don’t think any defender in L1 would worry about lining up against him at all. Basically that’s my point, he is not a L1 striker, sorry to say. So if anyone would have him, I’d 100% move him on. Johnny Worm
I can see Peterhead improving - they've brought some players in. But they'll be little to no movement in players for us so I fully expect us to deteriorate further. I think the board are resigned to us going down (I know I am!)
