Glad to see we've been busy bringing in some final loan players before the window shuts.

Interesting- where you seeing this? Can’t find any info anywhere........

Very annoying… A decent player in any key area of the park added to the vastly improved situation would take a huge amount of pressure off us. Now we are still in this situation of looking below us and scraping draws every week, a bit of speculation might well have given us the quality to get a couple more wins and a relaxed run in and planning time for next season.

With the expansion to larger benches/more subs there was always a chance that teams further up the chain could keep players they'd normally loan. There's no doubt that Jamieson/McAllister were exactly what we needed, so some credit needs to be given there.

Our issue is that the time to make additions is in May and we messed that up last summer. Hopefully we are set up to do better this year with the savings on Balatoni/DGW's wages and a couple of transfer fees in our pocket.

Still a gamble, as we are still fielding a number of players that aren't good enough.

It's absolutely pathetic that it's March 1st and we've got no one else through the door yet. The squad needs quality reinforcements and whilst Jamieson and McAllister have looked good for the most part it's nowhere near enough.

The starting line-up and performance against Airdrie were great but I really hope that isn't seen as some kind of a justification for keeping things as is, especially since losing DGW and Balatoni. The bench is so thin, anyone other than Elsdon getting stripped was giving me the fear.

We're in a precarious position in the league, we really can't be taking any chances at this point.
