Amazing how we have these links to Celtic with Diamond and then sign half of Rangers’ youth team. Lamont was on loan, albeit not utilised at all until mid January. How far back are we going? Scott McMann was excellent although unfortunately injured for most of his spell. The same with Craig Halkett. Duffy had a few decent centre halves (Fordyce, Lamie) and goalies (Feely, Mentel), though I'm not sure how old they were at the time we signed them. Ignoramus Posted January 9, 2021 Share Posted January 9, 2021 Not technically a loan, but the mere mention Celtic and Scotland youth player Jack Breslin makes me shudder. I do agree that we have had a poor record in getting good loan players through the door compared to other clubs in the same divisions as us.
