Jaggy Snake
There were still plenty of positives to take from the match, and 2-2 would have been a fair result until an awful error from Vajs. We were helped as Dunfermline never really pressed us in the middle of the park so Cuddihy was able to find space but, the line of Cunningham, Lamont and Love behind Goodwillie worked very well and should start again next week. Shame not to see out the game for confidence reasons but not a disaster to worry about. Edited November 14, 2020 by Jaggy Snake

SLClyde
Dunfermline are a good side but we should be seeing that out. We lack any leadership or character in that team.

BullyWeeStonehouse
We have a support like no other. When we win everyones giving it "this is it, we are winning the league, everyone else is shite." The next week when we lose its "This is a team of amateur b*****ds. Get them all out. We are going down to the Lowland league." Give it a rest, man. We lost to Dunfermline through a keeping error. There's been a lot improvement in the space of a week since the Airdrie game. Doesn't seem to be any in between.

Absolutely agree with this. Everyone needs to calm down a bit. I sense that Danny is beginning to sort things and we'll be a lot more organised in the league going forward. Never expected anything from today but the fact we ran them close is grounds for optimism.
Replays
Tbf, after getting cuffed 5-0 last weekend, I’d certainly hope to see some improvement! I appreciate that David Mitchell and Tom Lang were missing today so hopefully we improve going forwards.

haufdaft
I doubt there is any support in Scotland that wouldn't be reacting negatively to 5 defeats in a row, scoring in only one game and then snatching defeat from the jaws of victory with only 4 minutes remaining.Didn't watch the game yesterday but going by some reports on the performance maybe things are turning around.
CM.
Love Lamont Cunningham Goodwillie That seemed to work well last season in our run of wins (and the defeat at Raith as we played brilliant at times but it just wasn't happening in front of goal) before the shut down so going back to that in the last couple of games seems to have made us more of an attacking threat at least. Anyone know how long Lang and Palmers injuries are for? Them in the XI with Howie partnering Lang at centre back would make a big difference IMO albeit with the full back positions still a concern.
BullyWeeStonehouse
We were absolutely honking in that 5-2 game up at Starks Park. Pretty sure Love came on as a late-ish sub, too.

Unbelievable int it Stoney, but it's been that way for years. One of countless examples, mind the pelters Grant got when just filling in at left back, then gets the chance to play in his correct position, next thing you know he's getting hailed as the new Xavi. Fine player that he is, but, y'know.... Danny went through this almost exactly two year ago, went through a tricky period but sorted it out and got us promoted the same year. Think I'm more inclined to trust him to have the answers again than P&B's resident geniuses His post matches are consistent in he has a system he has in mind. We've a lot of good & tested players for this level and some young fellas that should be given more than a couple games to adjust and prove themselves. We've still got the young lad on loan who's apparently highly rated to come back along with Lang when we'll have strong defensive options again now Howie's back Of course folk should be disappointed at losing any game against anyone, especially 2 goals in the last 3 minutes, but at the same time put in context the standard of our performances in the last 2 games against the standard of opposition. Aye we'll lose more games, but still think it's likelier we'll win more than we lose

BullyWeeStonehouse
He's the type of player we are missing and need in midfield but not sure hes good enough for league 1. Time will tell...
