the_bully_wee
We get to pump Hamilton, Thistle, Airdrie and QP before the league season begins. Wonderful stuff.
David W
I'm sure others may disagree but that's a group to be happy about. No travelling, and the potential for attendances as good as you'd get for this cup. Maybe three games at Hamilton out of four though?!
LeeM1996
I fancy our chances in Group F of the Betfred Cup with Hamilton Accies, Partick Thistle, Airdrieonians and Queens Park. We can do this!! [emoji16][emoji1267][emoji460]️
BullyWeeStonehouse
Pleased with that group draw. Hardly any travelling. Was expecting to get Group G at one point. 3 games at Accies would be ideal for me as its 2 stops away on the train! Ingo ohne Flamingo
Less games at Hamilton the better. Airdrie and thistle away. Accies and QP at “home”. Chuck the Accies Support in the gazebo, they’ll fill a quarter of it.

We'll be going to Airdrie twice in the league anyway.

Bully Wee Villa
That draw's mental! Couldn't have handpicked one for more derbies. Has it been announced which two we play at "home" yet? Would rather not go to sodding Hampden again...

macclyde+
4 Clyde players in the SPFL team of the season, Rumsby, Rankin, McStay and Currie. And 2 more who have signed up to the cause
Jack Burton
Really couldn't ask for a better group than that. Ideally have Thistle away on a Saturday or failing that QP away we are long overdue a win at Hampden.

He was their right back and we have two. Hooper wouldn't have been a considerable upgrade - not on Cuddihy as an attacking force and only arguably so on Duffie as a defensive force by reason of being a bit more mobile. He's actually a bit of a Cuddihy-Duffie fusion, and quite versaitle player. Saying all that, he's quite a sturdy defender and Peterhead have definitely signed a good player. On the flipside, we've seen Syvertsen, Banks and Goodwillie leave him for dead in the recent past, so who's worried?

If they use the same system I reckon it will be:Hamilton - ‘home’Thistle - awayAirdrie - homeQP - awayI’m assuming we were drawn last into the group as we are listed last on bbc article. (Didn’t see the draw live).
Jack Burton
No doubt we will get Hamilton away and Thistle/QP at "home".
BullyWeeLad
My preferred choice Thistle away, Hamilton at home, QP at home, Airdrie away.. other then the terrible record at hampden don’t think I can handle another pish football match in a big empty stadium (especially if we lose)
Bully Wee Villa
I'd rather have Hamilton away then have a "home" match at which we don't have home advantage. Then again, we usually have more fans than QP at Hampden Park and it rarely does us much good, so who knows?
