How about 14-18-12, with Cove replacing Stranraer, or 14-20-10 with Stranraer surviving and Edinburgh joining Cove in promotion?

Not suggesting this is a great idea, though I wouldn't mind it. Just wondering if any change other than 14-14-14 might be suggested. Surely the more clubs she gets onside, the better chance she has of getting her reform voted through? Alienating us, Peterhead and others seems counterproductive.

That's desperation on a Falkirk scale.

She will get 14,10,10,10 if she compensates clubs for the extra teams but if not no combination will be voted in.

"If she compenstes"? Are you serious? How would that work?

By she I mean the League, the biggest thing for lower league clubs is the loss of revenue from the overall trough with two extra mouths to feed.

Two new clubs in L2 costs £80oddk. Two extra clubs in this Premiership is about £1m at least. That money can only come from the top clubs giving some up, lower league clubs won't be contributing.

Yep the top clubs will have to give up more. The bottom clubs have votes and will not vote anything through that will mean lesser money to themselves. Pounds are prisoners to lower League clubs particularly at this time.

I believe his brother is the new assistant manager at some West of Scotland side, probably nailed on to be an option for him, although dont think Ally should be playing that low down the pyramid.

Hope Ally stays. He is very important to us and it is no coincidence that we play better as a team when he plays.

I like Ally and agree we are better with him in the team.

However, I cannot see the club extending any contacts during this period. We may not have any matches until next year.

I imagine it'll be a struggle to pay the existing contacted players for the 20/21 season as it is.

Think it’ll be the case for most teams in the country currently. Goodness knows what our team in our next game will look like.

Can our financial position really be so bad?The Government is paying 80% of the wage bill.Presumably we haven’t been paying rent since NL closed down Broadwood .The Celtic game must have taken some of the pressure off.And in addition almost £15000 has been collected in donations and I am sure that total will increase. Also, before I forget, 236 of us pay £5 a month into the Bully Wee Fund.Time to believe our glass is half full.

There is a couple of financial updates on the club website. We ran at a loss the last 2 years and would have made a loss again if not for the Celtic game. The playing budget will be smaller next year and there is a £50k shortfall that the fans need to fill.
