By she I mean the League, the biggest thing for lower league clubs is the loss of revenue from the overall trough with two extra mouths to feed.

Two new clubs in L2 costs £80oddk. Two extra clubs in this Premiership is about £1m at least. That money can only come from the top clubs giving some up, lower league clubs won't be contributing.

I see Ally Love is looking at his options.Lucky man nowadays to have any.Whatever he decides I wish him all the best.

I believe his brother is the new assistant manager at some West of Scotland side, probably nailed on to be an option for him, although dont think Ally should be playing that low down the pyramid.

Hope Ally stays. He is very important to us and it is no coincidence that we play better as a team when he plays.
I like Ally and agree we are better with him in the team.

However, I cannot see the club extending any contacts during this period. We may not have any matches until next year.

I imagine it'll be a struggle to pay the existing contacted players for the 20/21 season as it is.

Can our financial position really be so bad?The Government is paying 80% of the wage bill.Presumably we haven’t been paying rent since NL closed down Broadwood .The Celtic game must have taken some of the pressure off.And in addition almost £15000 has been collected in donations and I am sure that total will increase. Also, before I forget, 236 of us pay £5 a month into the Bully Wee Fund.Time to believe our glass is half full.

There is a couple of financial updates on the club website. We ran at a loss the last 2 years and would have made a loss again if not for the Celtic game. The playing budget will be smaller next year and there is a £50k shortfall that the fans need to fill.

Also seen in the Cumbernauld News that Kevin Nicoll has signed for Cumbernauld Utd. Would have thought he could still do a job in league 2.
