It's seriously worrying and has cost us so much this season. No disrespect to mcniff he always tries 100% he just isn't good enough at LB. Jack Burton Posted February 2, 2020 Share Posted February 2, 2020 This season has been a huge disappointment and we've only shown up in a handful of games.We've been really unlucky with injuries but only Mitchell and Howie of the new signings have worked out. A number of our regular, decent performers from last season have also either regressed or not up to this level only Goodwillie and Rumsby have been consistent. With Falkirk, raith and airdrie all full time, the rest of the league are fairly well established league 1 teams I’m not delighted with our position but I wouldn’t have expected us to be much higher. There is always a massive overreaction when we lose a game. Also, the comment about Celtic putting us out the cup next week, do we expect anything other than that? Stupid comment. Poor start - everyone going mad saying all the players and Danny are shite. Win a few games on a good run - "that's it we are going up via the playoffs". Lose a couple more games - "this is all Danny's fault!!" And so on, and so on... If we stay in this league though recruitment in the summer simply has to be better if we want to move forward. We're in a higher league now and the only position that's been improved on from last season is the goalkeeper.
