Thjat should be up to the Scottish electrate to decide though - not Westminster.

If as you claim, Westminster will deny the right of the Scottish Government to hold a second referendum, why on earth would they transfer the power to decide to the Scottish Government?

They won’t. But if they actually cared about democracy, as they’re so keen to bang on about with regards Brexit, then they would. But they don’t, so they won’t.

It's hard to see any circumstances under which Westminster will allow IndyRef2.
We had our referendum and IMO we won't be getting another one for a number of years.
The battle should be to secure the power to call one rather than specifically asking for IndyRef2.
Scotland should definitely have that power not Westminster.
It's basically the same thing.

It's not the same at all.
One allows you to have a single IndyRef2.
The other allows as many as needed, dictated by the Scottish Electorate.
Two entirely different things.
It's essentially the same argument. The power to hold one whenever we like won't be given until after a 2nd referendum is granted and thus arguing for it is pointless. We'll be lucky to get another crack never mind as many cracks as we like.

A sensible post at last

Is Oaksoft on the happy pills? Seems a lot less miserable last few pages and making a bit of sense...
His posts have never been as bad as some folk make out. It's that thing where an internet argument hones in on one very specific thing, and at that point folk pile on and he does himself no favours.

I take it you get your viewpoints on Independence from the same place this lot do, oh and by the way if it meant the OF and their ilk p*ssing off to England and Ireland then that gets my vote:

That whole video is just mental. It’s like a scene from a Limmy show, except it’s real. I love how drunk the mate is. Classic [emoji23]

The scary thing about it is they actually think like that.

Had enough of these clowns in Westminster. How much more of this shit can Scotland take ?

Who knows m8. Perhaps try asking your chums that question next time you're at Ibrox.
