Jambo'ness Posted September 27, 2019 Share Posted September 27, 2019 As we come close to our return home, it's the right time to reflect on the time spent away from Newtown. Last season the lads took playing at Carmuirs in their stride and finished off the season with a cup. This year, we have played six away league games and remained unbeaten, a fantastic performance from the lads! Injuries have taken their toll this season but our 'walking wounded' have risen to every challenge and never conceded defeat until the final whistle. So on the eve of our momentous return home, I'd just like to say thank you to the players, who always give 100%, even when not fit.
