Bo'ness United 2019-2020

Recommended Posts

As we come close to our return home, it's the right time to reflect on the time spent away from Newtown.  Last season the lads took playing at Carmuirs in their stride and finished off the season with a cup.  This year, we have played six away league games and remained unbeaten, a fantastic performance from the lads!

Injuries have taken their toll this season but our 'walking wounded' have risen to every challenge and never conceded defeat until the final whistle.

So on the eve of our momentous return home, I'd just like to say thank you to the players, who always give 100%, even when not fit.

Up the BU's!

It’s great to see football coming home today, hopefully a big crowd will turn out,but we all need to remember that this is a huge gane, probably our biggest of the season so far,no matter the venue,a win today along with the wee rose dropping points will put us top of the league,so yeah let’s make it a great occasion but more importantly get the 3 points

Anyone know if any of the recent casualties are fit again?

That kind of news seems to be kept under wraps. Gemmell, Nimmo, Keats, Hewit, Snowdon, McKenzie & Mooney not a bad bench to have if available. Maybe Max felt those who played would se us through and he was right and maybe one or two could have come on if needed.

Squad could do with a couple more though.

Agreed.

Wonder if Tranent will bring a support big enough to fill a Fiesta...

Very excited for today, hopefully a good game and three points for a triumphant return but with tranent as opponents it's impossible to be confident in that result As others have said this game has either a score draw or 4-0 run away win to either side written all over it. Just hope it's the BU on the right side of a result like that.

In Max we trust!
