22nd February at tranent the big one now

A couple of weeks ago on this site Linlithgow supporters were moaning they were paying £4 for seniors at Boness. Today Linlithgow were charging £5 for seniors. Of course they need the money to buy new decent players.

My how the mighty have fallen, their usual collection of prats, you know who you are , had so much to say , slating teams and committees doing their best on a very small budget to keep our level of football alive, only to be ridiculed by a few  idiots who have done nothing but tarnish the good name of Linlithgow Rose . Creating a massive dislike by all the teams  and supporters in the EOS for the wee rose . I will be one of many revelling in your downfall and hope it continues , it might be enough to bring a bit of humility to some who post on here but there are some without hope. There is no danger of the wee rose being relegated, but they have a lot of work to do, and lets face it past experience proves if they’re not getting the results in the first few games they’ll just sack their manager.

Recently one of the experts was whinging about the admission price of £4.00 at Bo'ness, yesterday his team went one better and charged £5.00. will he be on here explaining that , I very much doubt it.

This is nothing new though, just old news. As was mentioned back at the time, a couple of years ago (when they barely avoided relegation from the East Superleague) they charged £7 for an adult and a 6 year old going in at half time!

On club Twitter notice that Gemmell and Jacobs have signed contract extensions. Also link to Max Christie interview in the Journal saying he wants to keep all the players for next season and he will be working on securing that. He says that all players fit for Saturday and they will be going for it from the KO.

He has strengthened the squad by adding Ritchie, McGregor, Faulds & Anderson who are in their mid 20’s so IMO a look to the future. So he is doing his business early to improve the squad. Max gets a 10/10 for the job he’s done so far.

0-2 at halftime. Whitehill 2 chances 2 goals. We have missed 2 great chances and have had far more attacks but we're rushing the ball and going back to front too fast. Missing out the midfield isn't suiting us.

The BU players need to stop narking at the ref and get the passing game going.

Whitehill took their two chances well. They defended well and perhaps got the break of the ball today more than they've had recently.
Their "game management" (time wasting) wasn't anywhere near the level of Blackburn.
The BU had more chances but that's Fitbaw .

We need to show some bouncebackability.

Mon the BU's !!
