We'll be giving it our best shot.  The Premier is a quality league, and a tough environment for younger players when you need to fill gaps to cover injury/absence.

Long way to go yet.

Noticed a lot of changes form the team that played at Newtown

Bo'ness were excellent yesterday, Blackburn struggled to land a glove. By my reckoning there were only 5 that started for Blackburn yesterday that started at Newtown and only 1 player who started yesterday in the same starting position.  That's a lot of change for any team to accommodate let alone one relying on U20s. Anyway, regardless, it's a brilliant league to be involved in.

Whitehill Welfare win games in hand; Blackburn win their game in hand (up to 18 matches) then Blackburn go to 3rd bottom!
There are so many matches involved directly with the 7 teams who come into relegation danger:
Whitehill, Blackburn, Sauchie, Newtongrange, Dunbar, Musselburgh + Crossgates.
Supporters of the 7 sides could make reasons why their side could stay up or might be relegated. With a minimum of 12 matches (40% of fixtures), still to play for the 7; it is far too early to say who will still be playing in Premier League next season.

This has been the best thing about our league this season. So competitive and lots to play for right across the board.

It's in our DNA.

The moaning at refs and linos starts early on and is counterproductive in terms of 50/50 decisions - it also lasts nearly the whole game and even at 4-0 up we dispute a throw in decision when the game is safely won

Squad looking a lot stronger with 3 new players. Yet to see Faulds but McGregor looks a good addition and we know what Anderson can do.

Our next 8 league fixtures are . Whitehiill- 25th Jan (H), Camelon - 1st Feb (A), Dundonald - 8th Feb (H), Sauchie - 15th - Feb (A), Tranent - 22nd Feb (A) , Dunbar 29th - Feb (H), Musselburgh - Mar 14th (A), Penicuik - 22nd Mar (H) Ground Hopper day.

Hi,

Can anyone provide information on a George Millar who played for Bo’ness United in the early 50’s?

He signed for Falkirk in 1951 and after two seasons at Brockville moved on to Alloa Athletic.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Jamboness is yer man !
