8MileBU
7 wins in a row,all by 1 goal margin, some people still not happy,I dread to think the reaction if we had lost these 7 games by 1 goalThink everyone’s happy are they not? At least on here?
Deanburn Dave
The official fixture list had the 21 December as a "Christmas Break" for the EoSFL but there was a wee Note under the 28th fixtures that said :- fixtures may be moved to Saturday 21st December, Boxing Day (Thursday 26th December), Friday 27th December, Sunday 29th December, or New Year’s Day (Wednesday 1st January), or adjacent or preceding midweeks provided both clubs are in agreement and receive official approval.

Woudn't be an unheard of move by any means. Last season Crossgates-Dundonald, Dunipace-Tynecastle and Eyemouth-LTHV all preferred to play on weekend before Christmas rather than weekend between Christmas and New Year. (Bonnyrigg-Sauchie saw those clubs add a game and plough on without a break). May get better crowd on 28th, but committee/players may prefer holiday, etc.

We are consistent but not winning games in style I’ll settle for the winning.

Well if he needed a reminder of the task he’s got then today’s result confirmed it.

Jambo'ness
1-0 going on 3 or 4-0. Expected more football from the Fife team but they weren't really interested. Great to see Nimmo and Gemmell lining up together again, as I feel our best performances have come when they play alongside each other. Fantastic way for Ritchie to open his account with us! Hope he gets plenty more 'ordinary' goals for us too. Only real tactical query, not complaint, was why we didn't put on Henderson or Stevenson for the last 15 and run at a tiring team. No matter, we got another 3 points but the question is, who is next on the penalties?

We thought the reason behind it was he had seen the way Keast was being kicked about that “Dougie” was a more physical presence. Ref gave no protection to Fraser as different players took turns at kicking him. To be fair Ryan is no shrinking Violet and can mix it.

Anyone picking on Dougie is sure to regret it.
Deanburn Dave
Dougie pound for pound is probably the strongest player in the league. He must be an absolute beast to play against. Good game management by Max to put him on .
