Deanburn Dave
Great to hear it's a 4-2 victory for the BU's. A few beers will be sunk tonight.
Jambo'ness
A most pleasing start from the boys, considering 5 of the squad not available. Murphy had one great save and could do nothing with the two crackers that beat him. Terry Hewitt looked good alongside Ross and also provided much needed vocal encouragement when we were beginning to tail off at 2-2. Tom Grant will prove to be a cracking signing. His cross ended up with the first, an own goal, then the second was a 1 on 1 neatly drilled into the far corner. His second goal was sheer class, a glorious lob over the keeper into the roof of the net. Sandwiched between was a great finish from Morgan from a Stevenson cross.. Did not recognise Jack Simpson one bit but he is not a signing option as only over from Canada for a few weeks. Thought when WW brought on a raft of subs at 2-2 they would overrun us but the exact opposite happened and we finished with the same 11 that started.

The pitch though was very dodgy. Apparently heavy rainfall last night and the ref had wanted to call it off and play at 3G in nearby school but players wanted to play on it

Deanburn Dave
I am guessing that we are struggling with fielding a team for either the Saturday and Sunday. Sure the players available will be working hard on their fitness but you don't want to be going into your opening league fixture at Broxburn with only 90 friendly minutes played.
Bo'nus Ball
Not ideal. Only 11 yesterday including Jack Simpson. Who thought played very well.
