Personally, I dont think he is losing but dont think it makes sense for MJF to take a loss right now. I'd have MJF get deliberately disqualified by beating the piss out of Jericho with the ring on, proper bloody him up. Once the DQ is official, have MJF cut a promo along the lines of: "retiring you would be sweet, but you'd adapt and reinvent yourself the way you always do. Whats sweeter, is that every time you come out and hear the fans sing Judas, every time you get into this ring, you will know its because I have allowed it.
