Cody's promo the other week was top notch and with Jake back involved, there's now a storyline that has me genuinely wanting to watch wrestling again. Utter class the way he left the ring. Proper use of not only a legend, but one of the best promos that wrestling has ever seen. The only sad part is that his throat has been wrecked over the years and whilst that gravelly voice does add something to him, there's nothing more sinister than those old Jake Roberts hushed, almost whispered promos. I meant that Jake Roberts is one of the best promo guys in the history of Wrestling and this sort of stuff is proper use of him. That you couldn't understand what he was saying during what was a very good promo is more about you than the promo.
