Holy moly 😮

0-4 at HT, with Talbot more clinical rather than totally dominant. After an extended HT break while someone was taken away in an ambulance after taking unwell, Nitten got a goal back, then missed a good opportunity to get a second.  Talbot went back up the park and scored their 5th and 6th in quick succession following poor (or should I say non existing) marking at set pieces. After that the Nitten heads went down and it was just a question of how many.

Edusport 0-1 ww

First look at WW this season Newky and quite impressed. A good individual goal by Daryl Devlin 5 mins from time. A decent display against a higher league team who dominated possession but never really threatened. I thought the back four of Somerville, Hamilton, Connell, Keane were excellent. The venue makes K-Park look like the Bernabeu though.

I think the team were complaining about the dressing rooms being half finished. And there was no food available for them and nothing on sale for the fans. Still, they never charged  admission and hopefully they can sort everything out before the season gets underway.

what the fk happened here ?

Best team in junior fitba pumped a team that will be lower end of the league below the lowland. Pumping is no surprise, Talbot really do go for the jugular when they play other non league teams. Although the way that star seemed to have caved in sounds poor

Edinburgh United 4-0 West Calder United

Young Edinburgh side rounded off a good pre-season with a dominant performance. Let’s see what happens when the real stuff starts next week now.

It was a friendly. We will see how they do when it matters against dundonald and if they can beat them then Camelon.

Hopefully we will have our goalie, two central defenders, the best midfielder in the Juniors and our new striker back for the Dundonald game. By the way you still have to get past Newton Stewart you arrogant w**k.

Just a masterclass from the Talbot.  Many young players getting blooded by the looks of things today.  The West of Scotland teams just go at you all the time no time allowed to settle into a rthymn. Decent crowd to see the cream of junior football and the Scottish cup was there for everyone to see .

It was a friendly where we tried three trialists. I'm not too sure how good the Star are but we were quicker, fitter and more deadly. Decent crowd and a good day out. I thought six quid for a friendly was a bit steep, but most clubs treat us like the Old Firm. I hope the person who took ill at the game has a speedy recovery, and the steak and gravy pies were a treat. Good luck to the Star for the rest of the season.

Yep prices up when we visit, four quid for a programme at BSC when asked why so dear we were told "Your the Talbot" Its common knowledge that some clubs are willing to rip off a decent travelling support. You might find this out if Kelty Farts ever take a support with them.

Were the Talbot fans treated to the delights of the pre-match announcements ? Old guy with a microphone rambling on at a ridiculous length telling fans about the contents of the pie hut (almost item by item) and warning spectators against making offensive comments or using foul language. #Overkill
