That's got to be a record. Yeh certainly since EOS League was reorganised in 1980s... It could be an all-time record as even in the "olden days" the season started a few weeks later than now; there were few if any midweek games early in the season (and none by floodlight of course); plus lots of cup-ties with replays etc. throughout the autumn. My guess would be that it probably did happen back-in-the-day at some point as there are 20-odd weekends from 2nd Saturday in August to Christmas - so there might've been a club now and then who played a couple of midweek games, lost all their cup-ties and didn't suffer any postponements. Of course Stirling Uni EOS cannot play in any cups except the League and King cups the former of which doesn't start until the spring, so they tend to get a bit ahead. They actually had a blank week on August 10th and suffered 2 postponements during last 3 weeks. It's interesting to see how the total league games (including League Cup sections/Qualifying League where appropriate) has risen inexorably over last decade with the introduction of the fixture-list, more floodlights, etc. 1987-95 24 Premier Division (18) + LC (6) 24 First Division (18) + LC (6) 1995-97 24/26 Premier Division (18) + LC (6/8) 28/30 First Division (22) + LC (6/8) 1997-98 22 Premier Division (18) + LC (4) 26 First Division (22) + LC (4) 1998-99 18 Premier Division 24 First Division 1999-00 28 Premier Division (22) + LC (6) 26 First Division (20) + LC (6) 2000-05 22 Premier Division 22 First Division 2005-06 25 Premier Division (22) + LC (3) 23 First Division (20 + LC (3) 2006-07 26 Premier Division (22) + LC (4) 24 First Division (20) + LC (4) 2007-08 27 Premier Division (22) + LC (5) 27 First Division (22) + LC (5) 2008-11 22 Premier Division 22 First Division 2011-12 27 Premier Division (22) + QL (5) 29 First Division (24) + QL (5) 2012-13 27 Premier Division (22) + QL (4) 30 First Division (26) + QL (4) 2013-14 26 Premier Division (18) + QL (8) 26 First Division (18) + QL (8) 2014-15 26/27 Premier Division (24) + QL (2/3) 30/31 First Division (28) + QL (2/3) 2015-16 31 league (28) + QL (3) 2016-17 24/25 league (20) + QL (4/5) 2017-18 26 league (24) + QL (2) 2018-19 27 conferences (24) + QL (3) 2019-20 30 Premier Division 34 First Division conferences

The Mantis
Can anybody explain the system for listing the fixtures for the two conferences and inter-conference games on the official EOS website? Seems to be a bit random.

It goes by Kick Off times, so when it pulls the information across to the Match Centre information that is how its replicated. The added complication this year is the First Division Conferences and Inter Conference games making it a bit messy.

Sure isn't alphabetical and not grouped by conference either.

You'll notice this is next week's fixtures on the Match Centre on the websitre homepage. Then in the fixtures So you can see for the Premier Division it's pretty simple. Earliest start time then alphabetical order. For the First Division I think it tries to order Conference A and Inter Conference first, then start times, then alphabetical? Or close to that. That's why the solely Conference B games are last on the list.

HibeeJibee
Most could accept that Tynecastle winning this conference and automatic promotion is a case of "when" not "if": but everyone behind them continue to drop points and it's had to say any look especially stand-out. Inverkeithing will be content to have a slight points cushion but have still to face Kinnoull, Heriot-Watt Uni, Dunipace and St Andrews in inter-conferences games plus visit Tynecastle which could seriously erode their lead. Preston have almost the same challenge (sub LTHV for Heriot-Watt Uni), but have to face Tynecastle twice. Edinburgh Utd also similar to Inverkeithing (sub Leith in this case), but they only still have to face Tynecastle at home. Glenrothes and Dalkeith will need to find some serious form to get themselves into strong reckoning for finishing 2nd.

HibeeJibee
First time Tweedmouth has won consecutive games since a pair of QL fixtures in debut month Aug 2016. (They won consecutive league games in spring 2017 but lost cup-tie in between). EDIT: Incredibly also their first clean-sheet in 115 attempts. That's crazy .
