There are various Hawick amateur teams under the hawick name. And for the life of me cannot remember who was the best one.

Hawick Waverley currently the best am team in Hawick (and the Borders).

Hawick Legion were historically the top amateur side in the town - they won the BAL several times in 1960s & 1970s... Hawick United took on the mantle in the 1970s & 1980s... Hawick Waverley in the 1990s & 2000s. However their victory last season was the first by any Hawick side in a decade and a half.

In recent years Waverley have tended to be the only representation in A Division with Legion + United both in B Division, but United ascended last season and finished third this time (while Waverley defended their title by a country mile).

Anybody applied or know anyone interested in the Coldstream job? Cracking setup down there and wouldn't want to see last seasons work goto waste. Would hiring a manager rather than a coach take them backwards?

Wonder how many players they retained for upcoming season and if any plans put in place as I know they where waiting on Fairbairn's decision re moving abroad to coach.

You wont see any further announcements from the club until the boys are actually registered and confirmed by the SFA.

As you know we are building a team from scratch but expect a raft of announcements from 1st July onwards.

According to Tweedmouth Ranger's FB their Chairman and Vice-Chairman resigned last night.

According to thread on SPFL2 sub-forum their chairman Colin Pike, formerly chairman at Duns, is joining the Board at Berwick Rangers. Their vice-chairman Colin Smith will serve on the committee.

Kevin Dixon and Les Fletcher have stepped-up.
