rhliston
Good result for Jeanfield Swifts against Camelon today didn't expect that result. Did think Jeanfield would win but not by that margin.
HibeeJibee
Clubs have brought kickoff at tomorrow's Dundonald Bluebell v Bo'ness United game forward slightly. Match at Moorside Park will now commence at 7:15pm instead of previous timing of 7:30pm.

Maybe @bluebell1 can tell us why kick-off has been changed. If it's a cloudy evening like tonight then the clubs without lights will probably need to start at 7pm (which is when the West Juniors kick-off).

drs
Poor from Camelon - dominated the match for a good half hour either side of half time and should have been out of sight but only had one goal to show for it. Too many wayward passes and punt to no one allowed Blackburn back in and then a last minute penalty via the new hand ball law sealed the deal for 10 man United. Too one dimensional against 10 men, left it too late to change it. Edited July 30, 2019 by drs

Blackburn were excellent compact and had a good outball to the number 7 on the left.

Not sure how you come to the conclusion that Camelon should have been out of sight at any point, or that they dominated for half-an-hour in the first half, it was a pretty even first 45 with chances for both sides. Camelon scored two minutes in to the second half and were on top until we equalised on the hour mark and we gave as good as we got until the soft sending off with about 15 to go. Then it was backs to the wall a wee bit and hit on the break, until the penalty. I thought Camelon were pretty blunt in attack and we dealt well at the back. Draw probably a fair result but after a last minute penalty defeat there last season, we'll take the opposite this time
HibeeJibee
Camelon have another tough fixture at Broxburn on Saturday... but then it eases-up somewhat... Newton Stewart > Whitehill > Dunbar > Haddington > Crossgates > Newtongrange, up to early October. Too early for a crisis. End of the day it's all a very different business this campaign. Last season it was 24 league games and a fair number were gimmes... now it's 30 league games and all v calibre opponents.

Burnie_man
Light poles are quite short, or is it just the pic that makes them appear wee?

I thought things looked pretty even till half time then Camelon came out the traps the better team but once Blackburn were down to 10 men Camelon ran out of ideas. Fwiw I thought both handballs looked harsh. The Blackburn defender seemed to have his back to the ball when the ball struck his hand, very harsh for scond yellow. The handball penalty against Camelon in the box looked too close for the defender to react

How can losing a striker make u concede 7 goals. 1 player doesn't make a team. Most of anderson goals came in first part of the season we were less reliant on him by the end

mojmeister
A draw would have probably been a fair result. Blackburn missed a couple of good chances in the first half and overall were probably the better team in that period. Camelon started the second half well and scored what was a well worked goal. Credit to Blackburn though for sticking in and getting level when they did. After the Blackburn guy got sent off the game went a bit flat and looked like a draw was on the cards. Penalty at the end was a bit of a sickener for camelon but it was clearly the right decision. Felt for the Blackburn guy who got sent off. Yes it was a hand ball but to get a second booking for it and get sent off was harsh to say the very least. Blackburn looked better than last season but camelon are clearly lacking in confidence right across the park. Difficult to see where the goals will come from this season.
