EoS Premier Thread 2019-20

Really enjoyable game at camelon yesterday. Camelon well worth their win but credit to both teams for getting the ball down and playing some good stuff in pretty poor conditions. Have watched jeanfield several times and they are a treat to watch at times. However they seem to have lost a bit of a goal threat up front as they were nowhere near as dangerous in the final third as they have been when I watched them previously. Have they lost players or are they struggling up front due to injury?

We just weren't at the races yesterday. 2 of the 3 lads who had been away with futsal picked up knocks so didn't start.

Better team won on the day and we just have to get our mojo back as away to Linlithgow next week

Sauchie had been winning 0-2.

Snow??? We had a bit of sleet in Linlithgow but nothing lying. Hope there's pictures.

Going by Sauchie's twitter, i'm guessing they weren't too happy about it.

It was the correct decision. Committee spent all half time clearing the lines of snow. I didnt think it should have restarted and the ref was slow and indecisive at calling it off, but in the end he called it right. 3g is worse than grass at dealing with snow20200222_151212.jpeg

If that photo is when the abandonment was called it looks a poor call, that pitch looks comfortably playable. Of course it could have been a lot worse between the photo and the call off.

The weather in fife has been intermittent snow,  I’ve seen the garden covered in snow and the washed away half a dozen times today.  Even if the ref thought the pitch was struggling he can pause the game and give time for it to be cleared/the weather to change. Did that happen?
