Feels ridiculous even floating this... but Linlithgow are 3pts from 14th, and have 2 wins from 7 (and 1 from 5) in league.

Could they be sucked into relegation battle?

A lovely thought but it simply isn't going to happen.  The last time they were in the brown stuff (2016/17) they pulled themselves out of trouble fairly comfortably.

Wouldn’t think so. They’ve got enough about them to be better than those at the very bottom.
Might not be a great season but should consolidate this year and give the new boss a chance to build.

Clean sheet aswell. Someone was on here saying they couldnt keep them out

hens were the word you,re looking for. that young center back jeanfield have put t.c in his back pocket in the 1,st 5 minutes and that was game over. do,nt think he,ll be at jeanfield long if he plays like that every week.

Nitten & Blackburn listed as next league games. If they manage to lose them they're in until they dig themselves out. Especially keeping in mind the slight risk of bottom 4 getting relegated.

What's the 4 down scenario ?

Great job posting the league  and stats up so soon on a Saturday night by the way despite our perilous position :unsure2:

HL champion goes up; someone south of Tay comes down from SPFL2; bottom 2 relegated from LL both east of salt & sauce line; so sees bottom 4 relegated from EOS Premier to stay at 16.

Those at the very bottom are capable of a result as well as proved midweek albeit a cup tie. 😉

Anybody can take points of anybody in this league.

Cheers!

It's not looking too good for WW right now. Starting to get a little hard with needing a 2 game swing just to get off the bottom, let alone out of the relegation zone. Still can get out of it though. Really just need a goal scorer. 12 played only 13 scored and your goals conceded is lower than many ahead of you.

Seeing what Tynecastle and Leith Athletic are doing this year, and 3 up and 3 down I took think WW can bounce back to the EoS Premier even if they do get relegated.

I was also thinking. Threave win the SoS, Bo'ness are unlicensed EoS winners, Vale of Leithen relegated from the LL. Wouldn't that also see a 4th EoS Premier relegated without worrying about the SPFL playoff ramifications?

Not necessarily... e.g. LL champion go up and someone north of Tay comes down from SPFL2.

Fact is you'll get a sore head if also trying to devise every unorthodox route to odd numbers.

If we ask "what chance?" the answer is "low". Such conditions have never occurred to date; Brechin are afoot SPFL2; Gretna are 1pt off 15th in LL; and many wouldn't rate Brora/etc. over Kelty/etc.

Still early enough in season for Whitehall to catch up with other teams just above them. But last 3 league matches lost, and two tough games coming up against Bo’ness and Penicuik. Could get into a rut if you lose bothmatches!

Makes the 1st match of 2020 so important, with the short journey to Newtongrange; another team struggling at moment.

You have to include Crossgates into these calculations.  They may be in 8th place,  but even Whitehill, in 16th position, can overtake their Fife rivals, if they win their three matches in hand! Bottom 3 come end of season, may be harder to predict at moment that who can catch Bo’ness at top of league!

I wouldn't think so. They're an inconsistent team rather than a bad team. Our previous league result was a good win away at Broxburn, we've beaten some good sides this year and hammered a few. They'll pick up enough points to stay out of trouble.

The team two years ago was IMO worse than this and I thought they were genuine relegation candidates, but I really can't see it this year.

Bit of a heartbreaker today for Broxburn losing a late goal and the proverbial game of two half’s.  Broxburn dominated the first half but all Penicuik in the second.

On balance Cookie probably deserved it.  Overall a better performance though by Broxburn

Didn’t see the Broxburn dominance first half  but certainly did see the Cookie dominance second thought we should have scored more                                               Credit to both teams for playing good football on such a horrendous day
