Away Day To Cove

Recommended Posts

The questions away regulars have been asking themselves today are:

Where will be going for a pre-match bevvy at Cove?

What’s your team going to be doing?

Aye. Will be looking to get it enshrined in the club constitution that the bus will be prohibited from leaving Stonehaven before 2.15pm.

With the new road & the location of Coves ground could maybe stretch it to 20 past.

Stonehaven would be my call if you're coming from the South. If you head into Aberdeen then anywhere in town works and then just get the bus to Cove.

The Wellington and the Langdykes are the closest pubs, both a 10 minute walk from the Balmoral Stadium.

Both pish.

Best suggestion would be train into Aberdeen, few pubs in the city then the bus or a taxi up.

What the pubs like near to ground for away fans

how much is it in a taxi from town out

The pub closest the ground is just a shite restaurant chain type but there will be no issues with away fans etc. Aberdeen taxis are a rip off so you’re probably £12-18. A return on the bus is £4 so if there’s a crowd you’re as well with a taxi.

The Langdykes is the next closest after the Wellington, again not great but welcoming enough.

It's across the main road from the industrial estate that the "Balmoral" is in.
