Fjortoft played in the middle of a back three and was pretty dominant in the air... against Ryan Tierney. He also tried to play some nice passes, which didn't always come off, but he does look a similar player to Kilgallon. I don't like Stanger as a right-back or right-wing-back and hope his future is at CB for us, but his one good final ball did result in Breen's goal. Marios put in the comical performance he's capable of so I wouldn't read too much into that. I was in amongst the Dumbarton fans who were all getting a chuckle off him. The midfield was composed of nice footballers and I'd be really happy with them as a trio for the reserves. Only one of them will start at a time for the first team and while Mimnaugh is leading the race between them at the moment, there is scope for either of the other two breaking through too. Not right now though. Gourlay made one pretty good save to deny an OG but he doesn't fill me with confidence. He wouldn't be signed as first choice anyway, IMO.
