He is in fact A.Trialist playing today.

Very highly rated, was surprised he was released but we also have Ferrie who's the same age and seemed to leapfrog him in the pecking order.

Don't know if he'll make it or not - but Elgin fans liked him. Seemed a bit on the small side to me.

Seems Scott Martin is out for a couple of months, Fulton looks like he wont be playing for a while and the rumour on Saturday is that Fjortoft wont be playing for months we are in desperate need of  getting a few new signings in.

Important players haven't been in the squad for the previous two games, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Rice could just be looking at trying Gogic or Hughes (or one of the LBs) at right-back.
Weird that Collar hasn't been sighted yet.

A non-event - pretty much a reserve league game. Fjortoft played in the middle of a back three and was pretty dominant in the air... against Ryan Tierney. He also tried to play some nice passes, which didn't always come off, but he does look a similar player to Kilgallon.
I don't like Stanger as a right-back or right-wing-back and hope his future is at CB for us, but his one good final ball did result in Breen's goal.
Marios put in the comical performance he's capable of so I wouldn't read too much into that. I was in amongst the Dumbarton fans who were all getting a chuckle off him.
The midfield was composed of nice footballers and I'd be really happy with them as a trio for the reserves. Only one of them will start at a time for the first team and while Mimnaugh is leading the race between them at the moment, there is scope for either of the other two breaking through too. Not right now though.
Gourlay made one pretty good save to deny an OG but he doesn't fill me with confidence. He wouldn't be signed as first choice anyway, IMO.
McCann and Smith had some good moments in a mundane second half.c

Youngsters were rarely troubled throughout the 90 minutes. Gourlay looks decent enough to be back up in my opinion.

Been really impressed with McCann in the two friendlies I've seen him play, looks a player.
