Any of them could let their contract run down and do exactly that, but they’re quite happy staying in England in their comfort zone. Should be a good competition between him and Arias for the right back spot. Hermoso also signed which is a fantastic piece of business. He was a standout for Espanyol last season. So far Atletico have brought in: Trippier, Hermoso, Felipe, Herrera, Marcos Llorente, Lodi, João Felix and Saponjic. Strongly linked to be bringing in James Rodriguez too. He's better than the likes of Smalling, but not as much to deplete their budget so significantly. Looks as though they are going with Ben Davies as first choice left back, on the right it's Serge Aurier and possibly they want to promote Kyle Walker-Peters. Not sure they would go for Tierney or not sure Tierney would go there TBH.
