No £60m + add ons agreement for Maguire and no flying in to Manchester for a medical this afternoon then. Echoes of £50m McGinn. I think any 'news' from there should carry a Sun warning.

And also no moving to his ‘preferred’ club ...

Just seen a report saying Swansea have knocked back a £15m offer for Oliver McBurnie.

If true, someone at Swansea must be absolutely off their tits on smack, spice and glue.

£15m for McBurnie and £45m for Lewis Dunk. The English league is becoming an embarrassment (if it hasn't already).

They are really just trading telly money. Didn’t see much embarrassment when the top European honours were being handed out Ron.

Juventus have agreed a deal worth £67.5m with Ajax for the signing of Dutch centre-back Matthijs De Ligt

If Lewis Dunk actually does go to Leicester from Brighton for £45 million it puts in perspective how over inflated the Barclays transfer fees are.

Lewis Dunk FFS.

Seeing Bale might be on his way back to Spurs for around 54 million.

In todays market that's a bargain. How old is he now? Late 20s? Should just be hitting his peak really if he can stay injury free and get a run of games.

He's 30 today funnily enough, one of the most exciting players in the world when he's at it.

The same report's saying that Spurs will only have to pay half of his £500k p/w, but I'd guess that will still be higher than anyone else at the club. Not so much that it would destroy their wage structure, but still lot of money for a 30 year-old who's potentially on the decline.

West Ham have unfortunately done some decent business early in the transfer window. That one looks rather overcooked at that price, though given Tyrone fucking Mings is now a £25 million player in the English domestic market who the f**k knows what counts as good value any more.

So Ravel Morrison is a Premier League player again, judging by how he has failed at so many clubs I am genuinely surprised and hope Sheffield United have plenty of clauses they can use to get out of the deal if he Ravel Morrison's again
