Was up in London on Monday, left to get the train back to West Sussex around 7pm and was astounded by how many Villa fans were on board. Easy to forget how well they are supported.

Love Villa Park, one of the best in England.

The rumours of Liverpool playing at Murrayfield in pre-season gathering a bit of momentum today. Would be a good one.

I’d maybe head along to that, depending on how much they wanted for a ticket. I tend to hate friendlies, but when some big players (most importantly Andy Robertson) are playing on your doorstep then might as well.

Liverpool v Napoli confirmed for Sunday 28th July at Murrayfield [emoji4].

No mention of kick off time will Murrayfield sell tickets or only through Liverpool themselves

Think it’ll be through Ticketmaster David. On sale early next week with some priority for Liverpool season ticket holders / members possible first but loads on general sale after that.

Sky give their favourite team the advantage of playing first yet again? I am shocked and stunned. They will not rest until the scousers win their holy grail.

Man U v Chelsea will be terrible.

Anyway, we seem to have signed a Brazilian forward for £22 million. Never heard of him before but excited anyway. Brazilian! Striker! £22 million! From Brazil! In South America! £22 million!

Not getting my hopes up but he better be at least as good as Pele.

The Scottish telly games are nearly always early afternoons, aren't they? I think I'll go for Warwickshire vs Lancashire that afternoon.

Anyway, I've changed the thread title because it was tediously unfunny. And if anyone is going to be tediously unfunny around here, it's me.
