Distant Doonhamer
They're not too far away from having a brilliant team but there's too much dross as you say. Too many good players signed and shoe horned in to roles and positions rather than being used in the roles that made them successful elsewhere. They’re a long long way from having a brilliant team. Being decent wound be a step up currently.

Being decent wound be a step up currently. Arsenal lack a creative midfielder. If Ozil could be bothered, they'd be a much better team. Another crazy decision was to let Ramsey leave on a free. Here's a team based on their recent acquisitions and best academy graduates. Leno, Bellerin/Soares, Mari, Saliba, Tierney, Torreira, Guendouzi, Saka, Pepe, Martinelli, Nketiah Maitland-Niles, Nelson and Willock have not made the grade imho. And then there's the likes of Chambers, Mustafi, Holding, Luiz, Xhaka, Elneny and Ozil... Edited June 24, 2020 by Bishop Briggs
Derry Alli
Guendouzi is absolute pap. I've no idea why you've left Aubameyang and Lacazette out the mentions.

They are not recent acquisitions or academy graduates. Both are the subject of transfer speculation too. Given Arsenal's poor record in the market and current need for cash, it wouldn't be a surprise if they were sold.

Underperforming fraud on ridiculous and undeserved wages. No suprise that Juventus want rid of him already. Ramsey is on a massive £400k a week, 4 year deal , Pep. Juventus want rid of him to free up those crazy wages. He's now like Gareth Bale - not wanted but no other club in Europe will pay anything close to his current deal. Probably better off in China.
RandomGuy.
Would be absolutely no surprise if Ozil gets a new, improved, deal at Arsenal aswell.

Doubt they can afford to do that. He's on £350k a year, £18 million a year plus bonuses etc. That's almost double Lacazette's deal. They desperately want to offload Ozil to reduce the wage bill. Based on the other first team deals, they could get 3 or 4 new players for that money.

They're clueless.

TheScarf
What a difference in United since they signed Bruno. They actually look quite dangerous when they have the ball for once.

DrewDon
I'm not watching the Bournemouth game, but they deserve to be relegated from the Barclays for continuing to employ jobbers like "Steve Cook" and "Simon Francis".
