Richey Edwards
It's time for the top English sides to break away from the rest of the league IMO. No way should one team be thrashing another like this.

J_Stewart
Wonder if the Southampton manager will bother giving the team talk, or if he’ll just go straight to his office to clear his desk?Imagine a team losing 9-0 at home. What an absolute fucking diddy league.

buchan30
Southampton players having the brass baws to go and applaud they fans and put their hands up saying sorry. They absolutely collapsed after the 1st goal. I thought hasenhuttl would have had them sorted them out defensively this season, but they haven’t improved at all from last year.
LinkinFighter
They could have scored more if they felt like it. I've never seen a Barclays game like that in many years.

It's been really satisfying to watch him ship goal after goal since he definitively decided he was English.
FuzzyBear
Fair play to the home fans still sticking around tbf. 8-0 down in the lashing rain, freezing, and nothing to cheer for, literally, the whole night.I dont get it. I am all for supporting the team but no chance i would have seen the last half hour if I was a Southampton fan. -

ScottR96
That is an absolute disgrace from a Southampton point of view. I'm actually sitting here raging at the thought of watching my team get scudded 9-0 at home.

Brummie Clyde
Makes me feel a bit better about how Villa will get on tomorrow away to Man City.
DrewDon
I stayed in the away end at Celtic until the final whistle of Aberdeen's 9-0 capitulation under McGhee. I was seething when it got to about 6-0, but by the end it was just tragic more than anything else.
Leicesterlichtie
I would think Fort William would’ve shown more passion & fight than Southampton.
Jacksgranda
That score is pubesque league. Imagine the comments if a Scottish Premiership game ended 0-9.

Mastermind
English football really is tinpot. Some of the teams in that league are absolutely embarrassing. Staying to the end of that on a Friday night is VL behaviour, get to the pub. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
Jambomo
Fair play on Hassenhuttl coming to speak to Sky. I’d be fucking right off after that.
