buchan30
Finished 8 for city. Apparently could have been about 15. Watching Newcastle v brighton and it’s more a pttgoyn, but brighton have had several opportunities now where they should have shot and opted to pass instead. The header 8 yards out should have put in rather than back across the face

Blame the owners and board who have failed to invest in the squad during the last three transfer windows. Top players like Richarlison have been sold but not replaced. Gracia did a great job with a mediocre squad last season. I had tipped them for the drop. Sacking him was a big mistake as the board is learning already.

Nah not really, it's something a lot of Premier League fans say on Twitter yet in reality the league is just as uncompetitive as any other in the world. A lot of them would lay into Scottish football and the general competitiveness of it say if Celtic or Rangers pumped a team 8-0, but not one of them bats an eyelid when Watford gets it done to them by City.
peasy23
Newcastle have been utterly dreadful, managed barely 25% possession so far. At home to Brighton, not even a top side.

A bitter irony that after years of Newcastle fans trying to get boycotts going to force Mike Ashley out, that its Ashley himself hiring Bruce that's finally managed to get the home support to drop.
Sherrif John Bunnell
Newcastle Vs Brighton has been absolute dross. Christ knows why Sky chose this as the prime time Saturday night game.

Guest Moomintroll
Jesus wept. No wonder given how many mugwumps try to claim his legacy as their reason to hate other people based on the football team they support.
Rab B Nesbit
Off to Stamford Bridge this afternoon. These were the types of games that Liverpool dropped most of the few points they did in last season. Allison apart pretty much full strength. Has been a pretty happy hunting ground over the last 15 years even when Liverpool were rubbish so hopefully 3 away points. Mon the Reds . Good run of games today for us types who work most weekends so buy a Sky Sports Subscription then a pointless season ticket for our teams that we rarely get to use, but do it anyway to feel that we are helping somehow. If your mob win today then Man City will be under serious pressure, Adrian is doing a grand job for now.
Mark Connolly
League A: Team with massive budget regularly horses lower-end teams. Teemu Pukki is shite. League B: Team with massive budget regularly horses lower-end teams. Teemu Pukki is brilliant. One of these is a tin-pot league where various northern arseholes' nans could score. The other is the best in the world. Discuss.

Adrian has done really well it looks like a few games and weeks training have really helped him after being thrown straight in. Liverpool have given sides chances this season but if they can keep it tight then you’ve got to fancy them with all that firepower. -
Jambomo
What’s with the hype for this Mason Greenwood? He’s scored one goal against Astana. Not worth this much hype surely?

Not worth this much hype surely? He's been dropped this afternoon. Lingard is back from injury. It's surprising that Greenwood has been left out as there is no striker on the bench. Chong hasn't impressed but he's kept his place. Odd choice from OGS.

Let's hope he can reach the heights of Kiko Macheida and those Brazilian twins.

Discuss.League A - generally a different winner every season, full stadiums, excellent standard of football, most watched league on the planet, one of the best in the world along with Bundesliga and La Liga. League B - winner known before a ball is kicked, shite standard, plastic pitches, empty stadiums, likes of Hamilton v St. Johnstone and St. Mirren v Motherwell four times a season. Treble trebles. -
