buchan30
Get this wankfest tae f**k. What do they want Mclean to say? Its 3 points in the league“It’s more than 3 points” unless they have changed the rules, no it isn’t. It’s a confidence boost at most.
Bairnardo
“It’s more than 3 points” unless they have changed the rules, no it isn’t. It’s a confidence boost at most. Mclean saying as much and the reporter desperately trying to get him to start gushing over it. Fucking pathetic stuff from the punditry.

Mark Connolly
Imagine how many people's nans could score in that league if Teemu Pukki looks that good.
Arbroathlegend36-0
Was the handball from Stones a penalty? It was very close to him but under the new rules shouldn’t it have been given?Don’t think anyone knows the rule on this handball anymore. If that was city in a attacking position and JS scored from that handball it would of been ruled out as they would of said he gained an advantage by hand balling the ball. So if that’s the case how has he not gained an advantage by hand balling the ball in a defensive position? Same today with SUFC and Southampton with I think James Ward-Prowses elbow making contact with the football from a corner kick.
Bishop Briggs
A five point lead (and 100% record) for Liverpool already is huge. Man City look shaky at the back with the hapless Stones and bombscare Otamendi. Should have replaced Kompany even if it meant selling a midfielder.

Brutal. if at all possible, i try to avoid watching EPL matches on Sky to avoid cretinous hyperbole like this; contrary to common sense, the analysis on the likes of NBCSN is more witless enthusiasm and an almost childlike glee about good football - y'know, like they're actually enjoying the game for it's own sake - rather than pursuing an arsehole corporate agenda to sell it as the biggest, greatest, shiniest thing ever in the whole world regardless of how shit what you're watching actually is
D.A.F.C
Can anyone explain why Norwich didnt get var to award the blatant stones handball? He nearly caught it ffs.Brilliant to see pep look unable to change things. Will no doubt sign another few average defenders for a hundred or so million.
Rab B Nesbit
Early start but cracking day out on the train today and also managed to catch Lower Breck at home in the F.A. Vase after at 3pm. Slow start from Liverpool and fell a goal behind but the response was excellent. Brilliant equalising goal from Sadio Mane and from there on there was only one winner. Firmino off the bench - hope Origi’s injury isn’t too bad - was outstanding when he came on not surprised to hear he got man of the match. Pleasant surprise from Carrow Road on the way home and an early 5 point lead at the top. So 14 straight League wins and been fortunate to have been at them all. Roll on London next Sunday . Mastermind
What a result that was at Norwich last night, never saw Guardiola dropping points at Carrow Road coming in a million years. A great game.
throbber
They had double that - a lot further into the season - last season yet still fucked it. It's a lead, nothing more. They had a 10 point lead on a Saturday which became a 7 point lead when City played the next day and then it was a 4 point lead when City beat Liverpool at the Emirates the following weekend, the only domestic game Liverpool lost all season. They then had 2 draws in a row a couple weeks later away to West Ham and at home to Leicester and then 2 more draws away to Man Utd and Everton not long after and won every other game apart from that and finished on 97 points, one point behind City (and 7 points more than the Arsenal invincible team got) and also won the Champions league. Anyone claiming that Liverpool fucked up or bottled anything last season is at the wind up.Their odds have gone from about 3/1 to 6/4 of them winning the league due to City already dropping points, it will probably go down to the wire again but I can see them both being pretty close to 100 points again so every time one of them drops points is potentially massive even at this stage.
