Celtic v Hearts...cup final rehearsal.

Recommended Posts

Except it won't really be a Cup Final rehearsal as both sides will likely rest key men with the final along the road at Hampden a week later.

Oh yeah, we get the league trophy too in what will probably be the highlight of the day, coming after what I can see being a half hearted 0-0 shitfest.

We'll win this then shitebag the final

Dunfermline did that in 2004.

Won at Celtic Park on the final day of the season before we got the trophy then we beat them in the Cup Final a week later.

It's so predictable may even chuck a tenner on it.

There is absolutely nothing predictable about Hearts winning at Celtic Park.

Play our reserves, get pumped, lull them into a false sense of security...

When was the last time that happened?

If you mean just to Hearts, 2012. They played Celtic on their trophy day that year, then won the cup final v Hibs a week later.

In general, it happens any time one of the OF win the league and are also playing in the SC final (e.g. this year, 2018, 2017, 2013, 2009, 2007, etc.).

We done it last year too. Why wouldn't we?

To annoy them?

Nah, common decency says you have to do it - even if it is through gritted teeth. But expect it to be long forgotten Hearts players clapping on unused Celtic players. The likes of Malaury Martin congratulating Scott Allan on his efforts to secure the title?

Not sure why we wouldn't tbh, as much as it'll sadden a swathe of the lads on this thread, the club isn't run for the benefit of our two dozen Tommeh Tots.

Fair enough.. Don't see why you would have to do it if sevco refused.  I suppose it shows you're not men children like that lot.  Still can't be to healthy for the mindset with the cup final coming up..
