Flybhoy
Except it won't really be a Cup Final rehearsal as both sides will likely rest key men with the final along the road at Hampden a week later. Oh yeah, we get the league trophy too in what will probably be the highlight of the day, coming after what I can see being a half hearted 0-0 shitfest.

I'd quite happily not bother sending a team out at all and just forfeit the game.

There is absolutely nothing predictable about Hearts winning at Celtic Park. Play our reserves, get pumped, lull them into a false sense of security...

Dons_1988
Two trophy presentations for the Hearts fans in successive weeks. They've hit the big time again.
gannonball
Total second strength side for this please. Reading today Eddie and Hayes picked up injuries in Ibrox game in addition to Lustig..

JamieThomas
Not sure why we wouldn't tbh, as much as it'll sadden a swathe of the lads on this thread, the club isn't run for the benefit of our two dozen Tommeh Tots.

They played Celtic on their trophy day that year, then won the cup final v Hibs a week later. In general, it happens any time one of the OF win the league and are also playing in the SC final (e.g. this year, 2018, 2017, 2013, 2009, 2007, etc.). Guest JTS98
Last time we won the cup we got pumped 5-0 by Celtic right before the final. Take the same again, no bother.

Nah, common decency says you have to do it - even if it is through gritted teeth. But expect it to be long forgotten Hearts players clapping on unused Celtic players. The likes of Malaury Martin congratulating Scott Allan on his efforts to secure the title? Edited May 18, 2019 by Pet Jeden

Why wouldn't we? Fair enough.. Don't see why you would have to do it if sevco refused. I suppose it shows you're not men children like that lot. Still can't be to healthy for the mindset with the cup final coming up.. Edited May 18, 2019 by Bohemian
