SandyCromarty
Disappointing obviously last night, and it may well have been different but for some fantastic saves by their goalkeeper in the first half. Anyway it is what it is and a Big Thank You and well done to all of the team for coming through four hard games in the last two weeks. And fer fecksake Robbo stop attacking officials with water bottles, next time try grenades.
NEFarab
At least Robertson was consistent in bemoaning the officials after the game at Somerset where he got an offside goal and a dodgy penalty given in his favour.
HeWhoWalksBehindTheRows
Anyone arguing Dundee are bigger than United in any shape or form really need to clean their bong out.
Highland Capital
Dundee United have been a bigger *club* than Dundee since the 60s/70s. There have been times since then though that Dundee have had a better *team*.

jm86
The penalty at Somerset was of the "seen them given" variety. There was contact and it was up to the ref to make a decision as to the sufficiency of this to justify a penalty. He decided there was. I thought there wasn't. He wins obviously. The penalty against ICT was a similar "seen them given" event. This time it went against ICT. I thought it was a very harsh decision. They probably thought the same about it that we did as we did about ours. . Normally these things even out over a season, but in important one off (two off?) games they can be crucial. Absolutely season changing. Even with VAR the ref still has a decision to make, as many penalty decisions are just a matter of opinion. Not sure what you can do about it. The offside "goal" at Somerset was clearly the wrong decision by the ref. In this case VAR would have cancelled out the "goal" . So there you are. 1-3 could easily have been 1-1 and the second leg is a totally different game. We might still have lost but would clearly have had a better chance. I agree Robertson has a touch of class and honesty not seen in many other managers.

Made me think as a starting point since 1971 when Jim MacLean became manager of Utd and then on to the present day how many times have Dundee finished above Utd in the leagues? Not very many.

TheScarf
Robbo is the best manager in the league. It's fairly blatant. He's also the best at promos. Buries the refs, rightfully, and puts other teams over when required.

Buries the refs, rightfully, and puts other teams over when required. He’s actually the only other manager I listen to in the AU media manager interviews along with McCall. Not the most attractive football but it works and he’s getting the best out of what he’s got.
Twinkle
Followed shortly thereafter by administrations 1 and 2.Are you trying to make out that Dundee had one of their greatest seasons without a trophy but soared to a fifth placed finish due to financial inproprieties?

The 2 sides above us had blank chequebooks so their managers are out of the running by default. Then there's Robbo who, on an absolute shoestring, had ICT on third and a Hampden appearance. It's not even nearly up for debate.

D'Jaffo
Ok then. More budget bollocks You seem unwilling to acknowledge the large amount of money that your manager has had access to. Why? It’s was blatantly obvious that yourselves and RC were able to spend more than the other teams before the season even began.
