Whitehill welfare 2019/20

Bit surprised with the 8th April date, surely better to extend the season by a few days than have a ~6pm kick-off...

Seems strange to be playing Jeanfield (with lights) away on the Saturday afternoon with all these midweek home games. Would WW consider switching any of these home games to a ground with lights to play at a more reasonable time for a midweek game?

If only it was that easy 🙄

I reckon theyve lost enough revenue on a Saturday losing out the Penicuik,Boness and Linlithgow games to midweeks without the added cost of renting someone else's park.

Also have the social club which I imagine takes in a few quid as well on a matchday?

Whitehill were without a game on March 21st as their game with Sauchie had been played earlier in the season. Jeanfield v Dunbar has effectively been 'split' and replaced with Jeanfield v Whitehill and Sauchie v Dunbar.

Whitehill couldn't have played Linlithgow/Bo'ness/Penicuik that weekend - they're all down for Groundhop games, at Newtongrange and Newton Park.

For those WWFC fans suffering withdrawal symptoms, taken a week ago whilst out on daily walk, sorry meant to post it sooner.

It’s fairly common knowledge that the manager was pumping a fair bit of money into the club through sponsorship and even paying some of the wages? Nothing sinister about that but what happens now he’s away?

Don't really know the ins and outs at the football club but that's a question for the committee or an agm.

I'm sure there will be many clubs that will suffer through sponsors tightening their purse strings once things get back to a bit normality again.

A lot of income already lost this season wi very few home games played.

The club are trying hard through these troubled times wi the grand national virtual sweepstake, football cards, lotto and the donate a ticket scheme.

That's aboot the only income they've got/had at the minute.

Testing times for every club though no just ww.

A consolation prize from the donate a ticket scheme. Was well worth it and brought in some much needed revenue 👏
