The Green Party will be much closer to the 6th seat than the SNP, so no. Even if every single person who voted Green voted SNP there would be no 4th pro Indy seat.

So basically, you’re talking utter pish.

Greens aren't going to win a seat on current results, but I suspect that SNP plus Green total might be good enough for 4.  SNP seats

Let's wait for the final figures, yes?

At that point, it will be proved that the Greens have failed again in Scotland. That will be a fact.

We can also determine whether or not I'm talking pish at that time.

My position has been consistent throughout this election. If you believe that the total SNP vote divided by 4 will be more than the Greens total vote in Scotland, then you must vote SNP. That's the way to maximise the Indy vote.

Brexit Party now at 31.6%. UKIP in 2014 got 27.5%. UKIP went on to win one Westminster seat the following year.

The European elections, especially this year, are an opportunity for protest votes. Voters love to stick the boot into weak leaders.

Tonight's results will not have much impact on the next general election. The Brexit deal, or the lack of one, will be the main factor.

Green Party woman making the point that pro-Remain parties have outperformed the Brexit Party.

Curtice says it's a draw by deliberately ignoring the Nationalist vote.

The actual figures are:

Pro-Brexit - 35%

Pro-Remain - 40%

That ignores the Labour vote entirely which I suspect is more Remain than Leave.

-Scotland-

38% SNP

15% Brexit

14% Liberal Democrats

12% Conservative & Unionist

9% Labour

8% Greens

2% UKIP

2% ChUK

Thank you Roger.

That proves my point. Green vote multiplied by 4 is still well short of the SNP vote.

Also, saying who did best out of Brexit v Remain is fucken pointless, since it's one particular Brexit option (no deal) v a billion different Remain options.

Which is interestingly the exact opposite of the EU referendum

Greens and far right have made gains.

EPP and Socialists have lost seats.

Far right halved their vote in Spain, Socialists gains.
