Not all Green votes would transfer on 2nd choice to the glorious SNP.

I know about 10 Green voters from the Independence campaign and rest assured Scottish independence ( whilst they support it) is very low in their political priorities.

I'm cut from your cloth and will always be indy/snp before anything.

I'm obviously only generalising, and respect the Green voters choice if it it sincerely held.

However, if Indy is high on their priorities, they should hold their noses and vote SNP at this time.

As long as we elect MP's by FPTP to Westminster, the Greens aren't going to win Westminster seats.

In an Indy Scotland, they will elect a significant number of MSP's to Holyrood, whatever PR system we adopt.

Someone ask Farage what policies they'll carry into a GE then. That would be good viewing.

Fox hunting to be legalised? Latin to be mandatory at school?

Not like Sarah Smith to put a little spin on things:

"The SNP campaigned on a very clear anti-Brexit message. They specifically appealed to people who are not natural SNP supporters - people who are not necessarily in favour of Scottish independence."

Although this is sweet :

"Labour have done very badly in these elections"

Why are the BBC reporting that the Brexit Party have "won" the European elections?

Since when was a third of seats and votes a win?

Most number of votes and seats

Under the D'Hondt PR system, it's virtually impossible for a single party to win a majority of the UK's seats in a European election.

I fucking love Murdo Fraser spinning it as a terrible night for the Tories, means it’s a good night for Scottish tories, because Ruth Davidson managed to hang onto a single seat and that’s a better percentage than in England.

Seems like the Tories have been fucked over and split by the racist, I mean Brexit party and that’s allowed SNP the comfortable dominance they’ve enjoyed.
