European Election - 23rd May 2019

BP playing this as a vote for Leave when clearly it isn't.

Isn’t it? I don’t think it’s good for remain at all in England, at any rate. The vote in Scotland pretty much is a vote for remain, it looks like.

Edit: there’s a strong case to be made that the terrible turnout negates the mandate for anything, mind you. But most supporters of, say, Independence, would argue that the final result is all that matters.

Carlaw on BBC is on tears.

Mike Russell “Can we focus on Scotland, this is a Scottish Channel”

Woman earlier “SNP won’t get more than 2”

Brian Taylor “it’s not unfeasible on these results the SNP will win 4”

Oh what a time to be alive

Tory party leadership contest is going to be all about trying to elect the most brexity evil c**t ever, after these elections tonight.

Would bring IndyRef2 ever closer IMHO.

IndyRef2 still requires Westminster to legislate for it.

About as much chance as Spain legislating for an IndyRef in Catalonia.

Add the Tory & UKIP vote last time and it will be more than the Tory/UKIP/BP vote this time.

It's usually not bad the Scottish coverage but It is abysmal this time round.

They are actually behind the UK version with Scottish results.

I know!

Baffling.
