no need to worry about a replay as you will be exiting the Scottish this saturday

You could be right there, our record in Elgin is rather mixed. For totally selfish reasons I don't want a re-scheduled game on the 30th. Obviously be preferable if we can avoid that by pumping Elgin rather than by getting knocked out.

10 non-league teams in round three - what's the record for the amount of non-league teams in round four? @HibeeJibee From a quick look, this decade has seen four non-league teams make it in 2015-16 and 2017-18, there will be at least two this season and perhaps a couple more.

Before the recent examples you have to go back to 1961-62 when 4 teams also reached the Last 32... Last time 5 reached that stage was 1959-60 but you have to remember that up until 1964-65 everyone went in at R1, and byes got randomly drawn, so some of those non-league clubs reached the Last 32 without playing a tie. Nowadays they are "funnelled" through from 2 to 5 preceding rounds so far bigger achievement.

Auchinleck Talbot 1-1 Arbroath
Albion Rovers 1-4 Airdrieonians
Bonnyrigg Rose 2-1 Montrose
Dumbarton 3-1 Forfar Athletic
East Fife 3-4 BSC Glasgow
Edinburgh City 4-3 Annan Athletic
Elgin City 1-3 Alloa Athletic
Formartine United 0-4 East Kilbride
Inverurie Loco Works 0-1 Broxburn Athletic
Greenock Morton 1-1 Brora Rangers
Patrick Thistle 1-0 Penicuik Athletic
Queen Of The South 1-2 Queen's Park
Raith Rovers 1-0 Peterhead
Stirling Albion 0-2 Clyde
Stranraer 1-0 Dunfermline

Very good day at the office for non-league as Bonnyrigg & BSC see off 3rd tier opposition whilst Auchinleck & Brora earn draws with 2nd tier teams. Penicuik bow out but with a very respectable 1-0 loss to tier 2nd tier opposition. In the two all non-league ties Lowland League East Kilbride & East of Scotland Broxburn Athletic beat Highland League opposition. Shocks within the SPFL as Queens Park beat Queen Of The South & Stranraer beat Dunfermline.

I can't recall a day such as this in R3/equivalent... to have 4 non-leaguers into Last 32, another 2 in replays, another lose so narrowly and in every case bar 1 v Scottish League sides.

Draw:

Premiership (12)
Aberdeen, Celtic, Hamilton, Hearts, Hibs, Kilmarnock, Livingston, Motherwell, Rangers, Ross County, St Johnstone, St Mirren

Championship (6)
Alloa, Ayr, Dundee, Dundee Utd, Inverness, Partick

SPFL1 (6)
Airdrie, Clyde, Dumbarton, Falkirk, Raith, Stranraer

SPFL2 (2)
Edinburgh City, Queen's Park

Lowland (3)
Bonnyrigg, BSCG, East Kilbride

East of Scotland (1)
Broxburn

tbc (2)
Brora/Morton (Highland/Championship)
Arbroath/Auchinleck (Championship/Junior)

Interesting to note only 2 clubs from SPFL2 feature compared to 3 LL / 1 EOSL... Indeed more LL clubs progressed from R3 to R4 than from both SPFL2 and, incredibly, the Championship.

Will there be highlights of the games in this round on tv at some point?

They may show a few snippets tomorrow during the draw buildup (especially from Linlithgow v Falkirk).

Highlights from all games appear on official Youtube channel usually early in week.
